That was a nice clip. I am growing more and more confident in this movie.
And as proved in the past, Pixar is good with handling slapstick humor. It’s always a lot funnier within the actual context of the movie. SoA using Ratatouille as an example is exactly what I mean.
that clip with the lords isnt an actual clip thats in the film. According to voice artist Trevor Jones, who provides the video’s narration, this and the recent Eyes on the Pies clip are not from the final film.
For anyone curious, it’s not that special. It’s sort of a featurette thing, I think. They took a standard trailer and added snippets of the director and cast speaking about the film, but it’s not very long. There are some new clips thrown in, but they’re very brief.
Almost three weeks left. Last year I didn’t really care that the new Pixar film was about to come out since I knew Cars 2 wasn’t gonna be amazing. This may be the first Pixar film I’ll see on opening day.
It’s usually tough to see a movie opening night because of people I’m going with, but I believe I saw Toy Story 3 and Up on opening night. I saw Ratatouille 2 weeks before the wide release. Everything else was Saturday matinee, except for Finding Nemo and The Incredibles, which I sadly did not see in theaters!
This summer may also be a Saturday type of thing, but if critic reviews are extremely high (as in Pixar high—96-100%), I may become so anxious I’ll beg my dad to take me Friday!
