I think she looks absolutely adorable! I can’t wait to hear her voice… I’m really loving Kelly Macdonald’s voice from the interviews and other things I’ve seen her in. I also think that she would definitely look great next to the rest of the Disney Princesses if they do decide to go in that direction… 
Is Disney going to make her an official princess?
I believe so. I’m sure it got annoucned somewhere, although isn’t Lasseter getting rid of princess films?

The trailer was stunning. Merida definitely looks better in motion…even though she’s only in the trailer for 5 seconds. It’s practically worth the admission price of Cars 2.

Now I’m really excited for the trailer! It sounds awesome! Even though Merida doesn’t appear in it much, I’d still like to see what this movie will look like.
I’ve seen quite a lot of movies featuring Macdonald, but I don’t remember her voice. I saw her today in a Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows TV spot and she somewhat sounded like an angry Keira Knightley 
I didn’t see the Brave trailer before Cars 2 today, and I was expecting to since we saw the digital 2-D version, which I thought would include this trailer (I’m in Florida so maybe it’s a regional thing?). Anyway, I’m loving what I’ve seen of this so far. It’s killing me to only have little chunks of stufff to enjoy right now - a little art here, a poster there. I feel like Veruca Salt and I want it NOW! 
The Brave trailer was one of the BEST teaser trailers that Pixar’s ever done. Actually, I’m gonna say it’s the best. It was BEAUTIFUL and I just got way more excited for this movie.
So jealous!
Jiminy, apparently it only got released with the 3D and IMAX versions. Course, I didn’t know that when I saw it in 2D which I prefer, so I didn’t see it either. So upset! I was looking forward to that as much as Cars 2 itself
The Brave trailer was a thing of beauty, it was breath-taking. The set is incredible.
And there is a real bear somewhere in there.
@Evangeline - I see, I guess I got my info wrong. Bummer! I wish I could’ve seen that trailer yesterday, sounds like it made a solid impression on the people who did see it.
Jiminy cricket, all the ravings about the Brave trailer are making me intensely jealous! I hope the news about it not being in front of the Australin releases are not true… I want to really see this on the big-screen!
And I’m sure most of you would’ve seen the official site by now… a bit quiet (I was hoping for some background music) but darn, that poster looks even more incredible in widescreen! <3
I managed to find the Brave teaser somewhere on youtube since I wasn’t going to see it with the 2-D version of Cars 2, wasn’t in that good quality though. I must say, this has got to be Pixar’s best teaser trailer of all time. I loved the details on Merida’s horse and Merida’s face herself. I never knew bears can be that tall! Lol anyway, very good teaser from Pixar. Those who haven’t seen it yet, it will not disappoint. I would expect the feature length trailer before Muppets possibly.
I just found the teaser on Youtube, but I highly recommend waiting to see it in theaters/waiting for a good quality version instead.
I agree, there were a couple chairs blocking the bottom of the screen and his camera wasn’t the best of quality. I’m thinking well get a better quality on the internet sometime in the coming weeks. Hopefully, the teaser will be attached to Winnie the Pooh for those who didn’t see the 3D/IMAX version of Cars 2. But I highly doubt that will happen. Like I said in my last post, I expect the full feature length trailer before The Muppets or John Carter.
