Central Brave Discussion

While I made some comparisons between this and HTTYD, I was only referring to the fact that I’m relieved of seeing more appealing designs on the humans characters.

Other than that, and the fact that they’re both medieval fantasy, I don’t think they look alike.

Viking and Scottish cultures are quite different.

From what I understand, the “mooning” scene is a lot funnier in context

The new trailer kind of seemed like Pixar was trying to get people of all ages to see it. You know, with the dark beginning for the adults and some of the jokes in there for the teens and kids. I’m not going to worry about that though since it’s still too early to judge the film. In fact, I won’t judge it until I see the actual movie.

I just saw the second trailer. And after seeing it, I’m very excited for it. i have this feeling that Brave can actually rise to be my second favorite Pixar movie.

Exactly!! I totally agree. Those silly jokes were just to make teenage guys and little kids want to see it.

Holy Freedom Fris.

That trailer blew me away. It was so beautiful, so much character! I ADORE the accents!

That right there just completely had me cracking up. 8D

Same here ^^.

I think the triplets are really cute

I know this has been said, but the triplets definitely remind me of a younger Linguini.

I can’t wait for the Japanese trailer (that is still ages from now 8D )

Those are always very epic and tone down the humor.

^How I love Japanese trailers! 8D

Yep. Those trailers imo are better then the American versions.

I cant wait to see Billy Connolly in an animated film.

I wonder who John Ratzenberger will play. Don’t know why buy I see some animal or mythical creture.

Oh guys omg I love the triplets too. ;o; They have Alfredo hair and ears!!! <3 I know this sounds really dumb and maybe shallow but I was so excited when I saw them, because they made me think so much of my Alfredo and Colette fanbaby, Nolan! Except with a tinier nose and eyes. But still, it was kind of exciting because that’s probably the closest thing I’ll ever see to my fanbaby – in Pixar’s own animation! :'DD

little chef

I don’t think Emma Thompsons accent is that great

Also…

i’m just speculating buuuuuutttttt…

could [spoil]this ‘beastly curse’ be that merida and her family turn into bears?
Also could the bear/mordu be related to them?[/spoil]

^Ah, perhaps. In that case, maybe the three little bears you see scream in the trailer are actually the triplets.

That’s what I thoght as well :astonished:

Hate, hate, hate that plot.

Anyway, I’m convinced that’s what happens, except… [spoil]Merida remains unchanged.[/spoil]
