Alright. Thanks for explaining that SoA.
Oh, sorry. My bad.
Anyone know why Pixar didn’t use it before then?
Maybe because their castle was custom made. It was only used in Pixar films.
Probably they struggled for a while to keep it.
I wonder how long their keep the same lamp logo.
I hope forever. It’s too awesome.
Me too.
Does anyone know the Witch’s name?
She’s still credited as “Witch”.
Either she won’t have a name or it hasn’t been revealed yet.
Yeah, she hasn’t been given a name yet.
Hope she does.
In films like that, I feel quite comfortable with unnamed characters, to be frank.
Yeah, she doesn’t actually need a name. Name’s humanise characters anyways, if they were to make her sinister, having her nameless may be a good move.
She doesn’t really need a name imo.
I found this little article/interview with Brenda Chapman, where she talked about Brave:
pixarportal.com/blog.php?id= … -two-brave
It gives a lot of amazing behind-the-scenes info at Pixar. However, the way she talked about how they were/are still struggling with the story doesn’t fill me with confidence. Sigh.
That was a very interesting interview. Thank you for posting it.
Yes, thanks, it’s nice to hear from Brenda herself where she’s at. Nice to know she’s still at Pixar in some capacity. Though the line “There were just some creative differences” really intrigues me. Must have been some huge creative differences to separate her from such a personal project.
I know that Tangled was still working out major issues (like if they could animate Rapunzel’s hair) the winter before its release, but there’s a significant difference between 9 months and 6 months. And technical difficulties vs. story problems. Hopefully Pixar will figure things out and Brave will turn out just as well as Tangled.
I fully agree ^^.
I’m not into reading in between the lines but it good that she sounds kindof okay about the creative differences. I hope she stays at Pixar.
I think the interviewer could have gone further with the questioning. We still don’t know anything new.
I also hope that she stays at Pixar.
When this comes out, do you plan to get it on DVD or Blu Ray?
