Yeah, there’s no way Atlanta will win this one. I mean, as we’ve said, you can’t claim rights on a basic word of the English language. Now, if the movie was named “Phillies” or something, which is kind of obscure and only ever references the baseball team, that’d be one thing. But Pixar’s Brave doesn’t even have anything to do with popular organized sports or Native Americans, so I don’t see why the Braves are worried.
I think their’s a book with the word “Cardinal”. Don’t see the Cardinals doing anything about it.
That’s obviously because the Cardinals’ management has something better to do with their time. I’m just trying to figure out WHY the Braves are pursuing this. Publicity? Extra money in the budget that they just HAD to spend on legal fees?
That’s because the Cardinals took their name from the priests. I hear the Vatican wants to sue…
Pity, The Brave’s are my second favorite team behind the Cardinal’s. I have lost some respect for them.
I agree.
Like David said, the judges would have to be incredibly stupid to agree to the lawsuit. I wonder how Pixar is responding to it.
Maybe this will end up on Judge Judy or something
That would be an episode I would watch. “Do you have a baseball for a brain. How stupid are you?”
That would be great to watch ^^. I already watch the show regularly so that would be an added bonus.
Then at the end she’s like “1,2,3 your out, Game over, Pixar wins this case.”
^^Yep, that would be great.
Now that would be an entertaining episode of Judge Judy.
Frozone will now sue Frozen.
That’s funny.
At work the only channel that works on the staff TV is ITV2, which is essentially nothing but Judge Judy, The Jeremy Kyle Show and The Only Way Is Essex, so I watch Judge Judy a lot too
SoA: Thats too funny!
I don’t think there’s anything funny about a lawsuit. Or maybe I’m too sensible about the theme because of that time Charles Muntz sued me over my username. Why do you think he was living in Venezuela?
Oh, it’s not that I find lawsuits funny.
It was an amusing example
I wasn’t being serious again, actually.
PS: I think you know that, but it’s hard to know on the Internet
