Same here!
We usually go see it about a week after its release so there wonât be a huge crowd, but even a week is unbearable for me. ![]()
After seeing the character page and reading hte character bios, I know Iâm not seeing this. The only character I can stand to see on the screen is Queen Ellinor, maybe the horse. ButâŠeh. Queen Ellinor is going to be a bear for most of the movie anyway. Not worth my time.
The short dude with the thousand chins is the worst. I would vomit every time he appeared on the screen. Ugh.
Saw it, itâs on Upcoming Pixar and I saw the link on the facebook page.
The film still looks interresting to me. Iâm glad they have added more info for the charcters. I wish they had info for the Witch, Iâm curious about her since she hasenât been talked about much.
I guess sheâll be a one-scene character.
Maybe⊠Sheâs a character I was wondering about for some reason.
This film appears to have fewer characters than most of the Pixar films.
This seems more like Up in relation to the number of characters.
Witch? I thought Merida read the spell that turns her mother into a bear from a book, like Lucy in The Voyage of the Dawn Treader. Although I guess the book belongs to the witch? The book Lucy reads from belongs to a Magician of some sort.
Iâve never heard anything about a book.
You didnât know there was a witch, and I think youâre simply assuming things, like the book and stuff, just like youâve assumed from the beginning that the film will be bad on basically zero grounds.
Zero ground? How about the fact that Pixar hasnât made a movie that was good which centered around hymans? The closest theyâve come so far is Ratatouille, and that film is more about a rat than the humans the rat interacts with.
And look, one of the lords in this film wears war paint on his face, his son is basically a Scottish version of Gaston (no wonder Beauty and the Beast was re-released earlier this year), and thereâs a guy with a booming voice who doesnât speak much, and his fat son who speaks a dialect no one can understand, and now Pixar is saying itâs negative to live in someoneâs own head.
i think I have plenty of ground to say this movie is terrible, thank you. I almost want to rescue Queen Ellinor from this awful film Pixar has stuffed her in.
You call that a âfactâ? Everyone whoâs someone in the film world has made glowing reviews on those films. You donât like them, and that I can respect, but your tastes donât make a film bad, and you keep repeating that they are terrible and that itâs a fact. I call that zero grounds.
Secondly, supposing past film have actually been bad, this is a different one, made by different people. It doesnât mean this one will automatically be bad. Zero grounds for that again.
I struggled to understand your points on that paragraph, but I donât think even those who make sense make a film bad.
No, you donât. Nobody does have enough ground to say the film will be bad (or good, for that matter), simply because not enough material has been released.
In fact, no work can be ever judged until the final product is seen. As someone who claims to love fiction, you should know that.
For some reason I think that the witch will have a similar role to Chuckles in Toy story 3. Only appear in one scene, but have a lot of impact. Also, chuckles didnât appear in any posters/trailers etc , and i think it will be the same for the witch.
True. Same with the Monkey.
And maybe thatâs part of the reason the characters greatly impacted on me when they appeared in the final film.
I just want to inform you guys that thereâs an new, exclusive Brave poster at Apple Trailers website, which is supremely amazing. Go check out!
No, actually, I just want to inform you guys that I really really hate the poster named âLove_of_fictionâ, and if any of you can show me how to hide/ignore his/her posts on this forum, I would totally appreciate it! I come here to get news and discuss exciting, upcoming movies with my fellow Pixar fans, not reading drones from mindless morons like him/her. Thanks a bunch!
That seems like the case.
Lover_of_Fiction, You shouldnât judge a film before you see it. I did that for Up, I thought it was going to suck but they proved me wrong. This film might amaze you while it might disapoint me. If you do see the movie and end up hating it, thatâs fine. But donât judge it before you see it.
I donât see how heâs saying it looks bad. We have little info, but what we do have looks pretty cool to me.
Exactly what I think^^.
If thatâs what he thinkâs, thatâs what he thinks. Let him hate the film if he wantâs. But if he misses oyt itâs his own faught.
I think the same as you.
