Probably not. There’s no ‘villain’ in it per se, so I doubt anyone would die.

I see the witch as the most likly. But it seems she dosen’t have a big part.

Me, on the other hand, don’t see the witch as a potential death.

I don’t see anyone else dying either, actually, but I think she is very unlikely.

It is out of question one of the lords or one of their sons die, that wouldn’t be funny… If there’s a “main” character that has to die, I think the witch is the only candidate. Yet the witch doesn’t seem to be a villain, so even her, it is unlikely.

But there may be some background characters that die. I’m really not sure, but some things in the trailers and tv spots suggest that the DunBroch kingdom [spoil]will be attacked and embroiled in a war ?..[/spoil]

Mor’du also could die, he seems to be the only “evil” thing in the movie…

I don’t really care for the “NFL Draft” preview, but I think there may be some very short clips that are new. Not really the type of thing I like to mix with a Pixar film set in a far away time/land, even if the film is trying to be marketed to a wider audience. Save it for Dreamworks! :unamused:

I can’t see any of the good guys outisde her family dying. I don’t think she has much of a relaionship. with them, so it woulden’t seem real or anything.

A new clip: comingsoon.net/news/movienews.php?id=89646

I spotted another horrid joke.

The video dosen’t work for me, what’s the joke?

I’m guessing it was the breast joke? Anyway, it’s no different from Wall-E when he puts the bra over his eyes.

The clip was okay, but I do not like that joke either.

I don’t really like the Wall-E/bra joke either, but I don’t think it’s quite as crude as the breast thing in this new Brave trailer. Eugh…

I don’t think that one joke will ruin this film for me.

Oh, yes, I do think this is VERY different from the WALL.E joke. VERY.

I’m kind of amazed by the crudeness of them showing it. I just kind of…wow. That’s what I’d expect to see in a Dreamworks movie. If it weren’t for the camera zoom in it wouldn’t have felt so crude.

I’m disappointed :frowning:

Same.

I’m drifting away from this film every time I see a new thing. When will I begin to feel excited?

On the bright side, Disney is agressively marketing this film. Which is great.

At least the gag in WALL-E sort of made sense, considering WALL-e was just innocently plowing through all the abandoned garbage. I was never big on that joke either (nor its presence in most of said movie’s trailers), but it’s definitely not this bad.

I’m probably getting more worried than I should be, though, I’m just anxious for this movie to be the best it can be. Disney makes these trailers after all, right? Tangled had awful trailers and look how that turned out. They’re not always good indicators of the actual tone of the movie.

I could understand (but not like) the horrid joke with Lord Dingwall, because it was a reference to Braveheart’s most famous moment, and all that.

But this is totally uncalled.

Are you referring to the “bear cub falling into a woman’s chest” joke? Cuz I don’t like it, either. :unamused:

Yes, that.

Any chance it ends up in the cutting floor?

I doubt it at this late time. But I’m crossing the fingers.
