I don’t mind if they make a Cars 3 but if they make it please put less mater and more mcqueen! that’s the problem with cars 2 they use a lot of mater and he’s not a character who everyone loves lightning was the main character and that’s the way cars 2 should be
The only sequel I want now is Incredibles 2. After that no more sequels for a while.
I would only like to see an Incredibles 2 if it isn’t rushed and has a good story that lives up to the original.

Back on topic, I think Cars 2 grossed below 200M for a reason. It kind of had weak word or mouth. Which also might be why Pocahontas grossed less then Lion King.
It grossed less then 200M just in the US, right? Cause I thought it was like 500M worldwide. All movies grossed less than TLK. It’s the 2nd highest grossing animated film ever, preceded by TS3, which is pretty neat. 
But you’re right. Cars 2 did have bad word-of-mouth publicity.

Yep. Besides, I don’t think a sequel to Cars was that popular with Pixar fans. I think Shrek 2 had outgrosed Lion King back in 2004, before Toy Story 3 outgrossed it last year.
Shrek 2 made over 900 million. It’s number 2 on the list.
