I wish Paul Newman was still alive so we could of had Doc. We all know he would of been awesome. 8)

In [i:1ob8cmh2]Cars 2[/i:1ob8cmh2]? Mater’s dream, first. I don’ know what it is with dream sequences like that. I just think they’re cheesy and they don’t work with me. I felt the same in the first movie with Lightning’s dreams. :-\ There are other scenes I didn’t like but I don’t think they were pointless story-wise.

Me neither. He’s dimwitted but is a nice character which made him lovable in the first film. I just don’t like it how he takes up most of the film. It’s like if they did it with Lightning he would get old.

Exactly. That’s the main problem I had with the tribute to Doc Hudson.

Yeah. I felt that they felt obligated to do it, and did it as shortly as possible, and brushed it out of the way.

I read a review earlier that made me giggle a bit. It said that Cars 2 was a Mater fanfic, and Mater was the biggest Mary Sue in Mary Sue-dom 8D

Haha, thats pretty funny. The movie felt like it was just a theatrical release of Mater’s Tall Tales. Of course, Mater (yet again) over-exaggerated the story that he’s telling.
