Yeah, I don’t think they’re really ‘buddy-buddy’ but I think what Shellow said is basically it. I think it’s basically, “I know you, I talk to you, you’re cool but once we get on that track, I’m going to drive you into the ground.” if that makes any sense. 
It’s one of those weird ‘acquaintance’ relationships.

I think that would be the most logical choice for fish in the Cars universe.

Some guy came through the drive-in at work yesterday with one of the most amazing vehicle interiors I have ever seen. It was just plastered with Lightning McQueen. I asked and he said it was because he has a 6 year old son who’s obsessed with Cars, but I could tell that he was loving it too xD
