I’m pretty sure it has to do with the movie being in 3D.
Am I the only one that just isn’t feeling it for this movie? Every preview I see, I get reminded of Dreamworks territory.
Usually Pixar trailers suck though, and hopefully that’s the case for this too

Meanwhile on topic… I the Cars 2 State Farm commercial the other day on my TV. Now I’m just waiting for them to start playing the actual movie previews on TV. Then I’ll want to watch the commercials.

I really like the Russian PSA. Who cares why the little forklift changed colour halfway, or why on Earth Mater is painted like a zebra?
Though I would love someone who speaks Russian to translate for us.

He’s painted like a zebra because those crosswalks are called “zebra stripes” or “zebra bars” or “Zebra crossings” etc.
The pitty changed color because the time of day turned to night. He was colored in dark colors. At night, one shouldn’t be looking so dark, you should be able to be reflected or seen.
I guess that makes sense from an observational point of view. Did you figure that out or do you understand Russian?
There was a behind the scenes video about that commercial, which was also in Russian. However, one can slightly hear English under the Russian voice over. Also, there’s one shot where one is able to see part of the script of the commercial.
So I took everything I got from that and just common sense? Like, I don’t know if common sense is the correct term. I just knew.

I agree with Spirit, I’ve seen a few of her posts and she doesn’t seem to be a “troll” at all.
