For only a couple of posts, you’re acting like you’re close to this person. Especially since you’re calling her a “she” when I don’t remember her stating her gender…
There shouldn’t be a doubt in anyone’s mind that it’ll be a good movie. Basically, people here are just worried if it’s Pixar good or not. Which is weird, because any movie made by Pixar is Pixar good. You know, or else it wouldn’t be made by Pixar.
Oh god… the German 3D posters look like a horrible Photoshop job indeed. I’m disappointed Pixar (or Disney, since it’s responsible for marketing) is trying to sell the 3D aspect so hard.
I mean, you don’t see this with Kung Fu Panda 2 or Rio… Rango didn’t even have a 3D version! Focus on the story and character, please!
The marketing campaign is hit-and-miss for me, largely miss. But after reading the opening scene in a movie storybook, I have very high hopes for Cars 2 regardless of the crappy publicity campaign.
…
Well, here’s a ‘hit’ for me! Check out this awesome take on the Cars 2 trailer… done entirely by Lego blocks! Although it has the support (and financing) of Pixar, it’s still an incredible effort by one man (PatrickBolvin)!
I love how francesco picks on mcqueen…also you’ll see john lassetire, jeffs pit crew chief, saying his one line! and fillmores new voice is kinda ehhhhhh
Nice clip. This film’s finally starting to get more interesting for me with the more footage they release.
One question: is that really Lasseter’s voice you hear saying “Jeff, the old tires…” or whatever when you see Lassetire talking? Doesn’t sound like his normal voice to me.
