I think the premiere was yesterday/today, so there should be reviews up by the beginning of next week.
I’m feeling a lot less worried about this movie, currently. But I am still anxious to see what the professional reviews say.
I don’t exactly agree with most of RT’s reviews for the original, though.
I’m not worried anymore. I mean if a professional does give Cars 2 a great review I will be happy. However, it wouldn’t bother me if they talk about a lot bad things that any normal person wouldn’t actually notice.
Same here. I can understand wanting to give a deep analysis about the content of a film, but most of the time, I don’t care. I barely notice a lot of the things they complain about, as they don’t affect my enjoyment of the movie.
Everybody is normal people
I’ve decided to avoid reviews until July 25th, which is when I plan on seeing it
Same here. While stepping out today I did end up taking a peek at one of those look-and-find books for the film but it gave away very little of the story, so I wasn’t able to understand enough of it to be spoiled. Frankly I’m glad since last year I was spoiled to death with that comic adaption for Toy Story 3.
I don’t get how those things get released so early.
does it have spoilers??
If you’ve seen the trailer, then there aren’t any spoilers.
which trailer?, actually I didn’t want to see the last ones and I haven’t done it yet,
Just as long as you know the basic plot synopsis xD
wow…thats not really a fair review at all…the only reason he didnt like it, was because he never liked the first cars, and cant stand mater.
He didn’t like it because he didn’t like Mater…
Well I didn’t like Woody Allen in Antz, and I still enjoyed the film. Didn’t like Sean Bean in National Treasure, still liked the film. It’s only one character, and it’s a weak argument, y’know?
Well, what that review says in short is that if you don’t dislike Mater in the first one, you will like this one. So we shouldn’t be afraid.
And, after all, he’s not a professional reviewer either, isn’t he? So his opinion won’t tarnish the movie score in, let’s say, Rotten Tomatoes.
EXACTLY, and I suspect that SOME Critics will bash and trash Cars 2 because of the First Film, so UNFAIR

There’s a review that’s actually fair and doesn’t appeal to complete trolls.
Since I like Mater, the film is gonna be pretty cute!!
Great review. Not afraid to admit the flaws but still offers a fair opinion.
That other one was terrible. My brother loathed Cars with a passion, but seeing the trailer and listening to me play the soundtrack (nonstop ) made him very excited for the second one. I don’t understand how anyone can seriously be that mean towards a movie just because they disliked a certain character or the first movie.
My brother hated every single character and now he wants to see the second one as much as me and that’s very badly.
What he did was completely unfair.
