Central Cars 2 Discussion

This is getting ridiculous.

I understand to movie may not be that good, but now it has the same score as Chicken Little. Really? It can’t be that horrid.

Granted, I haven’t seen Cars 2, but at least from the trailers you can tell that visually it’s breathtaking, and even the bad reviews admit that. CL failed at every respect.

It’s obviously unfairly critized. Even some people commenting on the reviews see that. So, I can’t see how anyone is defending them. Unless it was the two (or three?) bad reviews that actually made sense to me.

So yeah, being a blind fan, I do accept bad reviews. Not when they’re ridiculous.

Well perhpas we need to see for ourselves rather than what the critics say.

I hope this doesn’t tarnish Pixar’s reputation. I don’t know whether to be optomistic and ignorant, or pessimistic, worried and with low expectations. :frowning:

ha ya i shouldn’t bash bad reviewers when i didn’t even see the movie yet. from now on, i won’t judge. until i see the movie, ill see whos right and make a decision.

DD: Just be optimistic.

I can’t even imagine it being bad. I don’t know what to believe. But no matter what, I am optimistic about this movie, and very anxious to hear PP’s general reaction to it tomorrow and the days to come. Not sure when I’ll be seeing it, but hopefully soon (moving will make this difficult).

Even though a lot of the people here dislike Cars, at least they won’t call it a bad movie just because it’s not as intense as the other Pixar movies.

Well you can for sure expect a good review out of me!

Same. I don’t care if I seem blinded…even if I come away dissatisfied, I will make myself like this movie. There’s no way around that.

Jessie: The Brain Trust is the group at Pixar that has creative input with every film. They also help at Disney Animation. The current group is JL, Pete, Andrew, Lee, Gary Rydstrom, Brenda Chapman, Michael Arndt, and a couple others but I forget. I’ll watch TS3 tomorrow and see their names in the credits. Or look for them in the credits for Cars 2.

EDIT: The group is anyone who has directed a movie for Pixar. So it’s JL, Andrew, Pete, Lee, Gary Rydstrom, Brenda Chapman, Dan Scanlon, Mark Andrews, Brad, Bob Peterson, and one or two others.

I’m leaving this board tonight.

As you know, I won’t see the movie for two months

I’ll end up spoiling myself if I keep reading this board. So as soon as the movie is out, I’m leaving and won’t return until I see it.

My fellow moderators can take care of this board.

Oh no :frowning:

I’m sad to see you go, SoA!

Aww :frowning: Bye Spirit.

Thanks Forster!

Bye Spirit! Can’t wait until you come back!

By Spirte hope to see you in 2 months.

People in America and maybe in Canada Cars 2 will be showing at Midnight and I was wondering who is going to the Midnight show and which way you will see it. What I mean is are you seeing it in 2D, 3D, or IMAX 3D.

I am going to the mall where it has Cars 2 in IMAX 3D soon.

I hope you will respond back

I know a lot of people who are going to see it at midnight. I’m going to see it in the evening because I do have a few things to attend to in the morning and afternoon.

I’m seeing it in IMAX 3D tomorrow at 8:30 PM. I like seeing movies more at night because it gets me in the mood more when I see movies at night. Plus I have all day to hype up the movie and watch the original Cars over and over again

I’m also going to see Cars 2 in IMAX 3D tomorrow night, I’m really excited for it. The anticipation is killing me!

I need your help with this, guys…
When is the best time to go that won’t be infested with kids? xD
Also, 2D or 3D?

Go 3D, I’ve heard critics say that 3D is actually better for this movie. And I’d go anytime after 7 or 8. You should be safe then.
