Yeah, it’d be better to do it at night and in 3D because every review, even the bad, say that it’s gorgeous in 3D.
Just from the trailers I can tell it’s going to be visually stunning!
I can’t wait to see the water!
I can’t wait to see Porto Corsa, and the water there!
Bah I can’t wait for all of it!
Some of the comments on the IMBD forum are making me repeat rude words.
"The last report of Lasseter was that his film was at 50% Fresh and his Pixar Empire in turmoil! Special animated forces have rolled their pixel tanks outside Lasseter’s lair! He was sitting in mansion, alone, swirling a glass of brandy in his paws, his claw like fingers, wrapped around the glass!
Are we any closer to capturing this madman and bringing an end to the Pixar Empire?! Or has this tyrant already plotted another sequel?!"
Leave the guy alone. He’s made a film he was passionate about and it hasn’t don’t so well. So what? And I don’t appreciate idiots like this guy undermining the efforts of the people who work their backsides off to make these films
Ugh, definedancing, that’s awful. There are so many nutjobs on IMDB’s forums, though. People taking it out against Lasseter and making him sound like a tyrant are taking things way too far. I think the general reaction is going to upset him
I think so too . I think he’s overestimated the popularity of Cars, but I still think the sudden hostility towards him is awful.
That is absolutely disgusting.
I know right
Wow… just wow.
You know what? I’m just going to see Cars 2 despite what these people say about it. You’re very right, John shows a great passion for every animated film he makes, and I think one of the reasons we see Cars so much is because the idea for original film was something deep and personal to him. It’s like his baby, so he deserves that much from loyal fans like us.
I hope everyone on Pixar Planet see’s Cars 2, even those who weren’t fans of the first, coz at the end of the day, there’s no Pixar without Lasseter.
I’m not saying he’s a perfect director, and that his films are perfect, but then what director is? So putting your heart and soul into something makes you an egomanic money grabber? Some people are pathetic.
Whenever I see John talk about this or the original Cars film, he’s so happy and passionate about it…you can tell it means a lot to him. So even if he is excited about some of the marketing potential the sequel has (who wouldn’t be excited?), I can tell he still put a lot of creative touches on the film.
CARS 2 HAS OFFICIALLY BEEN RELEASED!
Although I won’t be seeing it till next weekend possibly, I will still offer my review on Cars 2 along with the Brave teaser and Toy Story short.
Seriously, it should be a moral obligation for everyone here to see it in it’s full glory. Some loyalty you have if you’re going to skip out in theaters because of some bad reviews.
And happy Cars 2 day!
PREPARE FOR INSANE HAPPINESS!!!
CUES MATER THE WAITER SCORE
I am so incredibly happy right now!! I’ve been waiting for this movie ever since I saw the first one, and now it’s finally here!
It seems like yesterday that I thought it would be forever until I saw this movie. It’s so bittersweet!
I’m hoping that more reviewers will bring the ranking at least to 60%. Toy Story 3 has 250 reviews, and Cars 2 80, so im sure some more are still coming.
