I agree that is a good idea.
Do they saw how long Mike and Sulley knew each other for Monster’s Universty? Because in the first film, Mike says Sulley has been jealous of his looks since 4th grade. If they meet in college, woulden’t that be a smell plot hole?
Good point ^^. We won’t know until it comes out or more details are released.
I hope they do say they met eariler or have a scene for it.
That line has been my biggest problem since they said this would be a prequel. Anyway, I remember reading (maybe it’s my imagination) that they’ll address that, and that in fact they’ve been rivals long before University.
I’m thinking they might have a scene when they were little kids how how they hate each other.
That would probably be the most likely solution ^^.
What if they just saw each other in the hall or something, but didn’t actually meet and talk to each other until college or something, and then Sulley mentions that fact. Maybe not, I don’t know. I see what you’re saying.
They would still have to have more interaction then just seeing each other in the hall’s, like a fight or something.
Well the plot says that both of them are fresh out of highschool and they’re not pleased at all when they find out they have each other as room mates. With that said, they have to had known each other before college for this to happen.
And I’m also wondering how Randall will be in his movie if he’s in it at all.
He is, it’s been conformed.
I don’t know if I’m excited about this or not. I guess I’m half and half on it, because honestly, I usually HATE prequels. Now, this might be one of those rare prequels that I actually like, but I’d rather have a sequel instead. I’m glad that Randall has been confirmed though, as he was one of my favorite characters from the original. Also, speaking of Randall, has an villain been confirmed yet, or is there not gonna be one?
Same. I don’t have anything against prequels per se, but this is one case where I wanted a sequel instead.
Like I said before, the plot sort of reminds me of Toy Story.
I would like to see Mr. Waternoose in this.
If he has a cameo, it will be probably a short, no-speaking role, as Coburn is dead.
They could get another guy could they? Like they did for Slinky. I think it could work if he appears in a commerical for Monsters Inc and talks about how it’s a great place to work and stuff like that and then Both Mike and Sulley see it and wanna work their.
Maybe, but I don’t know. I think Coburn’s voice is too legendary and unmistakable.
I would prefer it if they pulled out a Doc Hudson with him instead of a Slinky.
I hope he at least get’s a cameo. It would be stupid but I would like it if he had a mustache.
I would have to agree abot wanting a sequel rather than a prequel. I think a sequel would be much more interesting, but anyway I am hoping that this turns out great.
