NOw that is a list right there. That is a lot of movies he participated in. May he rest in peace.
My my – look at that list. Heh – I didn’t know that he was the one who did the voice of Georges Hautecourt in The Aristocats. Interesting…
Rest in peace, Mr. Lane.

102 years old, you gotta hand it to the guy. ![]()
Wow. What a number. Yep – you have to hand it to him alright! ![]()
Wow, 102! That is a big number there.
TSS , you gotta edit that. You see anything wrong with the age you put down?
![]()
Whoops! I already did! Silly me. 1000 would be a record though. ![]()
He was also in It’s a Wonderful Life . I haven’t seen that film. Maybe I should view it sometime.
Well the worlds oldest person ever was Methuselah at 969 years old. As said in the bible. Then after that god lowered the the maxmuim age limit to 120.
But yes Charles Lane lived a very long time. He is probly the longest living actor ever to live.
Wow, this man was in alot of films. Glad he made it so far. Rest in peace…
nightwheel - Based on how you interpret that, of course. ![]()
I think we are talking about documented age. But I’m not going to open that can of worms. ![]()
Too late Sky, you just opened that can of worms
. Ok lets talk about the bible’s accuracy. Take story of Noah for instant. Remember how the bible said water covered the entire earth. Well sciencetist have found stuff on moutain tops to confirm the storys accuracy. Another example of the bible’s accuracy. Is the whole book it self. The bible is accurate to the word to the original exsiting documents. (Even tho some a the documents no longer exist do to how long ago they were writen. Mostly the documents for the old testment.) More accurate to the document than Homer’s Iliad and Odyssey. And im sure the are more things to prove that the bible is true and accurate.
Sorry for taking over this topic ![]()
Well, I guess it all depends on how you interpret the Bible…
I’ll admit that I hadn’t heard of Chales Lane beforehand, but looking at that list of films, he has certainly achieved a lot in his lifetime! RIP, Charles Lane.
