Can anyone else see that Charles Muntz looks like Paul Newman?
I thought maybe it was done as a homage by Pixar for Paul.
Hmm…There is a slight resemblance, though it isn’t very obvious. It might be an homage, but if it were I’d expect the resemblance to be a bit more obvious. To me, Muntz looks like many old guys except with a rather more strange facial shape. 
I don’t think they wanted to make it obvious. Take Buzz Lightyear for example, his name is taken from 2 things. Buzz Aldrin and the speed of light over distance and yet not many picked up on that.
I wouldn’t have thought of Paul Newman. Most comments I’ve read on the topic think Old Muntz looks like Kirk Douglas (it’s the chin 
). Young Muntz has more of that Errol Flynn/Hollywood Matinee Idol thing going.

I have to agree with the Kirk Douglas ressemblance, but not the Paul Newman so much.
