Just curious, what kind of message services do you use to keep yourself in contact with others?
For myself, I’m a big user of Microsoft Live Messenger to chat with everyone I know. Playing games online for many years has build up a large base of contacts from all over the world I still talk with frequently.
I also have AIM from back when a lot of people on the old I-Kronos forums used that, too bad I never see anyone online there anymore.
I rarely call anyone on the phone tough, dunno why that is, I mostly text message them.
I use ICQ. That’s the only thng I have to chat with others. But mostly I talk with just two people, my friend with who I make those dubbings (hopes we could make another Pixar one) and my brother.
I used to have MSN but suddenly something was wrong with my computer and I got a new hard drive (thankfully I could save my most importsant files) and I didn’t bother to re-install it. The only thing I liked about that was the fact that my avy was bigger than in ICQ.
Aside from that, Facebook is what I use mainly to arrange stuff for parties and outings and that sort of thing. I infrequently use MSN, only really for asking about Latin homeworks which I’m usually stuck on at one time or another.
I’m an online chat queen! I use MSN and gchat the most frequently since they’re both linked to my emails and AIM a bit less frequently. It’s easy to ping someone to ask them a quick question or an impromptu meet-up or something.
As we all should, lizardgirl! It’s interesting how much human contact as changed over the years.
I use Facebook a lot to get in contact with people and organize events. Sometimes I use Adium which is just one program to chat with people on my msn, aim, and yahoo accounts. Oh, and I’ve been using Skype to chat with a friend who is studying abroad in England.
