snowy Christmas to.
If you
want snow somewhere close to SO CAL Mitch, go to Disneyland.
lizardgirl - Yeah, but
they’re both cold. So, legally, it’s the same thing! ![]()
Precipitation = rain. Rain = water. Water =
eventual evaporation. Evaporation = clouds. Clouds = cold weather. Dark clouds = really cold weather. Really cold
weather sometimes = snow. Snow = icy rain. Icy rain = precipitation…
Case closed. ![]()
The Star Swordsman - Ha! Yeah, you’re right. However, I would much rather
rest in a pile of mountain snow than fake flakes. (snigger)
Plans? The same thing we do every year Pinky, try to take
over the world. I mean… visit. XD
Christmas Eve: We go over to my Baba’s for the night, visit with many
relatives, eat yummy Ukrainian food. And yeah, then go home and go to the bed.
Christmas Day: Wake up,
open any gifts, then usually head off to my other grandmother’s, then usually my grandfather’s and sometimes
other places, I dunno.
Pretty much out little tradition.
Not to get off-topic or anything…but, I love that show! I used to watch it
every day – my dad worked on the episodes, come to think of it…
On-Topic:
So you have your own little tradition? That makes two of us. I hope you have another wonderful Christmas this
year, as well. ![]()
Haha! Aww, thank you, Mitch. I’m actually looking forward to Christmas this year,
mainly for the three week break from school.
Hope you have a good one, too–definitely sounds like you
will.
Speaking of traditions, mine is very, very common. Get a tree, decorate it, get
presents, secret santas, the usual stuff most people do.
We were looking at Christmas trees today. We’re going to
get a real one for the first time ever! ![]()
I loved that show too. It makes me
sad that they don’t air it here anymore. ![]()
On topic again: Yeah. There’s even more then that. XD On
Boxing Day, is my brothers birthday, so we almost always have family over. No boxing day sales. Although alot of
places nowadays are having Boxing Week Sales.
wow it’s
that time already ? 2006 went by fast .
I want most of the new cars die-casts ( especially the fabulous
hudson hornet ) . Luckly i think my mom got the hint when i was searching around wal-mart muttering " where
is that fabulous hudson hornet ? " .
i also want the ipod video , since my shuffle was majorly evil
and now doesn’t work . I also REALLY want the cars video game for ps2 . i have te demo on my laptop and its
awsome !!
oh yeah , i cellebrate hannukah too that right i get :
dad’s
3. hannukah at mom’s
i so happy ! at least hannukah’s not on the same day as x-mas like last
year .
u celebrate Hannukah? That’s cool! I just celebrate
Chirstmas at this time of year.
I don’t
celebrate hannukah. However, when I was in grade school, we had a hannukah party and also a christmas party
following. It was so much fun.
DoubleLatte - Heheh – you’re welcome! Wow – a three week break? My sister only
gets two. And I’m homeschooled so…I work all year, but can take breaks whenever I want. ![]()
And thank
you. ![]()
The Star Swordsman - Yeah, my Christmas days are pretty much the
same as yours, as well: get the tree, set up the decorations, the whole sh-bang.
(snigger)
lizardgirl - Yay – a real tree! My family and I always get a real
tree every Christmas – a fake tree in the house just doesn’t seem “right”. Heheh. Have a fun
Christmas, lizardgirl! ![]()
Sammeh (off-topic) - I know – it sucks. They
don’t show Animaniacs anymore either, and that was one of the funniest shows
around. (sigh)
gottalovepixar - Wow. So you get the whole deal: Christmas
and Hannukah. Sounds like your holiday is going to be a fun one. ![]()
gottalovepixar-
We’ve been studying Hannukah in RS, lately. It sounds like a lovely celebration!
Mitch- Thanks, though I
have a feeling that this year is going to be the worst Christmas ever. Last year, there was four of us
celebrating Christmas, but now we’re just down to two. My friends keep talking about all of the family they’re
having over, or all of the family they’re going to see, so Christmas just doesn’t seem the same anymore.
Mitch - Thanks for hoping I
get the stuff on my list. I very much hope I get everything too, heh.
Oh and regarding a snowy Christmas,
it sounds very lovely and I used to live in Illinois and Tennessee so at least I know what it’s like. And btw,
Disneyland is the last place to go if you want snow. The foamy bubbles will only make you sadder. Hahah. And
also, it’s a bad idea to stand too close to the bubble machines. Its madness I tell you.
I
am really upset, but happy, that I get two weeks of school off. I think I should have 3, but a vacation is better
than none at all.
Well, we break up on the 20th and go back on the 5th…so I get about 2 weeks too. It seems to
be the average amount, really, and I think at this time of year, it’s just about enough. ![]()
What do you plan to do for Christmas?
Parents are coming
here (Orlando, FL) for Christmas. Probably going to go to the Theme parks and all that touristy stuff. The parks
are always packed as hell during the holiday season, but that is the only time my family gets to come down here.
What is on your Christmas wish list?
Don’t really want anything
for Christmas. CARS came out 4 days after my bday, that was the sweetest present ever!!!
What do I plan for Christmas? Well,
besides getting a break from my studies, I plan to get two presents: One for my
birthday on December 21st and one for Christmas… ![]()
Hehe, just kidding. Although it would be nice for
that to actually happen. You see, having a birthday four days before Christmas can either be a good thing or a
bad thing when it comes to presents because I can either (1) receive two gifts from each gift-giver for the two
(aforementioned) separate occasions, or (2) receive only one gift for the simple reason that those two occasions
are so darned close to each other. For the record, the latter seems to be more prevalent…
But of
course, this is Christmas that we’re talking about (and being a devout Catholic, it really has a lot of
importance for me). Going back to my real home to reunite myself with my family after spending many months in a
university residence is already a gift in itself.
Get this. I might have to work on Christmas, too!
I won’t know my schedule
until the previous week. I’m scared.
If I don’t end up working that day, then we’ll do what we always
do on Christmas. We’ll wake up and open our presents, enjoy them for most of the day, and then head over to my
uncle’s house to exchange presents with other family members. I love going there because my uncle has a
projector and we can play Mario Party games and have Halo
2 battles on an entire wall. ![]()
Nintendo Wii tops my Christmas list this year. I’m also
asking for various DVDs, including 2 seasons of The
Simpsons.
