Christmas

I’ll be exchanging gifts with my mom tomorrow morning. There aren’t many wrapped presents under the tree, however, what with the current economy and me starting college. But I did get a new Nikon D40 a few days ago (required for a class, but still considered an early present).

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

I have asked nothing for Christmas because in Ukraine all the winter holidays are different from ones in the rest of the world. We have St.Nicholas Day on Dec, 19 - the day when St.Nicholas (Santa Claus???) comes to good boys and girls and leaves presents in their shoes. Then, the most important holiday is New Year (Dec 31 - Jan 1) when Father Frost comes and gives everybody a present  and then, on the 7th of January we have Christmas. And it doesn’t involve Santa Claus in it - it is a day when Jesus was born, and in the Christmas Eve people sing carols and have traditional meal. People seldom exchange presents on Christmas - only the closest ones.

That sounds like a really cool, extended holiday, Actine.

It’s Christmas in three hours over here, so an early Merry Christmas to everyone!

2 now!

wow…it must be really late over there.

It’s Christmas morning over here, so MERR-E CHRISTMAS! =)

Well, I got my Christmas present in August - a gorgeous Air Nautique boat, so I’m not asking for much this Christmas.

On my list are:
Trip to Germany over the summer
UCLA underwear
Electric blanket
Incredibles DVD (I’m tired of recording it every time it’s on TV)
New calculator
Journey CD
Rain Boots
House Season 4 DVD

My parents are already paying for my trip to Germany, so the most important thing on that list is the UCLA underwear =P

I won’t be online this Christmas (which, in my case, is tomorrow), so…

Happy Christmas and a Merry New Year (yes, I switched two words for fun, )

I’ve already got just what I wanted. A WALL-E DVD, an Aly & AJ Christmas CD, a comfortable jacket, a brand new racing red bike, and I’ll get playtime in the snow!

Well in case I don’t check in for a couple of days, I wanted to take the opportunity to wish all of you and your loved ones a Merry Christmas!!!

Or if you like your holidays a little more “politically correct”, may you all have a Merry, Happy, Jolly and Safe ChristmaHanuKwanzukka!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!! :stuck_out_tongue:

My family and I watched Knick Knack and Finding Nemo last night.

and Hey! I got some of the Pixar features’ soundtrack CDs!

'Tis christmas ove here now!

MERR·E CHRiSTMAS

Well, my family doesn’t really celebrate Christmas like we used to when my siblings and I were little… so no Christmas tree or dinner or presents… As of now it’s Christmas day and what we’ve done today so far is waking up late, reading the Straits Times (newspaper) and 8 Days (entertainment magazine), eating Wanton noodles for lunch, and lazing around in the afternoon (Trying to get my bootleg copy of Farcry 2 installed, to no success, which probably serves me right. Pretty impossible to get legal games in Penang malls anyway. Playing my legal copy of Burnout Revenge on my 360 in the meantime…). My dad and mum’s reading the papers, bro’s on his laptop, sis is in her room… generally a boring Christmas day.

We may go see Australia (the movie, not the country ;P) in cinemas in the next few days though, and I may go out with my Alliance Francais class friends this weekend, so post-Christmas should be more fun.

If you counted the illegal games I’ve purchased in Penang, that constitutes the Christmas gifts from my family… But I got my mum’s permission to spend $47 on the day I went to see Bolt with my sis, I dropped by a movie merchandise store and got myself a couple of neat posters.

I got the Dark Knight Joker one that was my desktop wallpaper, the Cars poster of L.McQueen and the entire cast from bird’s eye view in Radiator Springs, and the Wall-E one where he does the space walk with Eve forming a heart shape with his extinguisher’s foam. I can’t wait to decorate my room in my Sydney home… the wall’s pretty barren in the last two years I’ve stayed there. Hopefully within the next few days I can post pics of the Christmas posters ‘gifts’ I ‘gave’ to myself, so you guys can have a look…

ITS CHRISTMAS!!!

I got an Ipod Nano!!!

I got a dancing Walle!!!

I also got some other great gifts like a sweater…(Not of This World!!!)

Happy Christmas everyone! I’ve got quite a bit of what I asked for plus some neat surprises!

WALL-E dvd (of course)
die cast Cars (Lightning Storm, Dinoco Chick Hicks, and DJ!!! my missing DRH!)
Michael Palin Diaries
Late Show Fun Facts book
America by Jon Stewart
Beatles Christmas book
a set of Burberry perfumes
an actual print of John Lennon signed and done by Andy Warhol

I did not ask for anything, but I got:

The Art of Cars book.
CARS on Blu-Ray
Some CARS magnets
Ramone, Doc and Lightening pull back and shoot car toys
A lighting McQueen Pez candy dispenser
A polo shirt
Some car cleaning products ( car wax)
The Dark Knight on DVD
a mouse pad with a picture of me and my g/f
Tiger Woods 2009 for the PS2
and some chocolates

Oh and Merry Christmas everyone, Hope everyone has a good time with friends & family.

Ok Guys, heres a video of what I got: youtube.com/watch?v=qKjsVWUe5Nw

I also got Wall-e

I got:

  • a TV
  • WALL•E calendar
  • Target gift voucher
  • Cadbury chocolate stocking
  • violin sheet music book and some rosin
  • marshmallow skewer
  • home-made chocolate package thing with bath bombs in it

All in all I made out pretty good, especially as I only expected one present.

Merry CHristmas everyone. I hope all of your Christmas wishes came true.

I got myself some clothes. Thats about it. I pretty much happy with what I got.

I got Animal Crossing City Folk, Super Mario Galaxy (both for Wii), and a framed Chicago Cubs picture.
