Conceivable way for Bo Peep to return?

Ok ok, maybe this should go in the Bo Peep thread; I just have to ask. Is there any way that we could realistically have Bo Peep rejoin Woody.

We all know where the toys are, and who they’re with; and honestly, I can see the owner playing with Bo as much as Andy did with her.

Maybe I’m just drawing at straws here. -Omar

Bonnie’s mum could be decorating Bonnie’s room and see Bo and her lamp at a yard sale held by the current unknown owner and think “oh that lamp would look nice in my daughters room” get there like that.

I doubt she would have been trashed unless she was broken.

I think it really depends on who Bo’s new owner is. If she was purchased in a yard sale, then the new owner is probably a girl, and I think the two might grow a very powerful connection, similar to Woody and Andy. In that case, Bo may never leave the new owner and could be passed down for generations. However, I think the most likely way for Bo to return to Woody would be by [spoil]Bonnie’s mom[/spoil] purchasing her in a yard sale. She would really have to be in the right place at the right time to find Bo, though.

since Andy’s mom and bonnie’s mom are old friends, she might of went to the yard sale to say hi and purchased Bo for bonnie a few years (2?) before the third one took place…someone said that the toy story short could be that bonnie would get a little brother/sister…I guess bonnie’s mother could take out bo peep for the baby, and thus, returning bo peep to the story line.

Conceivability doesn’t really matter, it could really only happen by coincidence at this point, [spoil]since she was given away to some anonymous person[/spoil]. But still, it could be just as simple as Bo Peep randomly appearing in Bonnie’s room, and her mom saying something like “I picked this up and thought you’d like it.”

That would make sense, I mean Bonnie’s Ma only lives a block away, why not stop at the garage sale?

OK, I’m thinking about a timeline here… And I’m going to spoiler tag for simplicity’s sake:

[spoiler]I don’t see Bo going directly from Andy’s Mom to Bonnie’s Mom, unless Bo was in Andy’s attic for a while. Molly is 12 (and with that “I’m way too cool for baby toys” attitude - sorry, but I found Molly kind of annoying, although I know they were just making her realistic). Bo’s probably been gone from Molly’s room for at least 6 years. I’m guessing Bonnie’s 4 - she’s still a preschooler, but not a toddler. Bo probably went to another owner before Bonnie’s Mom was even pregnant.

Also, I don’t think Bo could already be in Bonnie’s room, or we would have seen that in the movie. If Bo had been in Bonnie’s nursery, she would still be in Bonnie’s room, because Bonnie is a fun, creative type who’s not likely to get hung up on “ew, I’m too old for that now!” And I don’t think Bonnie’s Mom would buy Bo for her now, because even though Bonnie wouldn’t think she was too old for Bo, Mom would probably assume she was. (I keep going back to the fact that, despite her inclusion in some of Andy’s playtimes, Bo wasn’t a toy, she was a porcelain figurine from a nursery lamp.)

The only logical way I see getting Bo back is if Bonnie’s Mom had another baby girl, and somehow acquired Bo while furnishing the nursery for Bonnie’s little sister.[/spoiler]

Whew, that got long-winded!

As we know Bo is a rare collecto item, a procelain doll from an iconic tale in the USA. Why Bo should be at Bonnies room, why not at mom´s room…

maybe bo peep is a n rare classic dolls, there are a lot of adul women who collect barbies or pordelain dolls, An maybe Bo have never left the room, maybe Bo is like frozen alone with hes sheeps, the only ones who stay with fer after all.

Bonnie´s toys can never notice about her existence because they´ve never been in that room… who knows…

Personally I didn’t miss Bo in TS3. Unkrich’s reasons for not including her are completely justified, IMHO, and in terms of her being Woody’s girlfriend, I’m confident that Woody can do a lot better. Bo could be shifty and unreliable sometimes; I’d even say she was verging on bipolar.

We’re all entitled to our opinions. I just set up this thread to aid a fic I’m working on. Some of us want Woody and Dolly together, others want Woody and Bo together; heck, on fanfiction.net, I found a fic someone had paired Woody and Buzz together.

Whatever floats your boat

I really like Sumori’s and karly05’s ideas, among others  -Omar

Lol, Woody and Buzz. Could you find me that one if I can’t find it?
Though there probably won’t be a TS4 (or so I’ve heard), there’ll be a short w/ Cars 2 and probably the DVD will have one as well. Who knows what there’ll be on those shorts? Maybe a story of how the army men got to sunnyside.

Here’s a Woody/Bo fic, and I know I’ve seen other ships, including Woody/Dolly and Woody/Buzz (yes seriously)

Would make a nice short to have Bo becoming a part of Bonnie’s Room.

i don’t really think they would bring back a core character from the first two in a short film. i’m sad bo was separated from the group, because she’s woody’s gf and was a very likeable character, but like i’ve said many times, i understand the filmmakers’ stance that it would’ve been hard to have her in 3. there’s no way she would have survived the adventure, and having her (and possibly others) stay at home would make the toys’ initial decision to stay at daycare less of an obvious choice. nonetheless, i’d be first to suggest bringing her back to the series. if she ever were to be reunited with the group somehow, i trust pixar to do it in a believable yet unexpected way.

also, in case some aren’t aware, lee answered a question in his formspring about bo’s absence. in my opinion, it seems like he hints that bo’s not coming back. (formspring.me/leeunkrich)

Ok an idea for a Toy Story short, got the idea from a fan fic i think…

Bonnie is having trouble sleeping at nite because she is afraid of the dark,so night falls and Bonnie finally drifts off to sleep, when all of the toys realize she is asleep they come to life to mingle around the room, but Trixie starts up the computer and forgets to mute it,so when the engine of the computer starts up it scares Bonnie straight out her sleep to see that the computer came on by itself.

Bonnie starts screaming, mom comes rushing in to see whats the matter,Bonnie says that she is uncomfortable and afraid to sleep in the dark, since it’s Saturday tomorrow Bonnie’s mother decides to go out to the local garage sales looking for bed side lamps.the following day mom comes in to surprise Bonnie with a a new Nursery lamp based on Bo peep,to Bonnie’s liking she finds a pretty Porcelain doll attached to it along with it’s sheep.

there Woody and gang united with Bo peep

Here’s one that they missed; what if Bo was in the attic the whole time, and joined the others when they were about to be donated? It’s a longshot, but could’ve been possible, it would just require more time.

The only problem was the dump scenes and the toddlers’ playtime. Since Bo was a lamp, she’d be put on a shelf or something, out of their reach. With the toys going into the dumpster, I think that’s where they’d definately draw the line. Logically, Woody might tell her to stay behind or something. How she’d get with Bonnie is a real longshot from there.

i don’t see the dump and the toddlers scene being much a problem,if Bo was in toy story 3 i would really want her to be apart of the action this time, not too much action but not where she is just…there.

If Bo peep was with the gang during there arrival at Sunnyside,i could have seen her either going to the Butterfly room with the older kids, along with Barbie where she and her sheep would be put on display or played with by more age appropriate kids.

The Dumpster scene would have been a mess if it weren’t for the following solutions.

a) she would have jumped on to the dumpster along with her sheep trailing behind to save Woody. Then when they all fell in she and her sheep could have landed on something soft, like a pile of garbage ,a old pillow, garbage bags, piles of food or something…ya know something to break her fall.

b) or she could have been caught by Woddy.

and i really don’t see how it was fair putting one of THE core character out like Bo peep, and leave Hamm in who BTW is made almost of the same material Bo is…if i recalled he was ceramic

‘sigh’

Pixar have already stated in the offical guide to the first two Toy Stories, Hamm is made out of PLASTIC. How else would he have survived an elevator shaft AND Sunnyside?

I don’t get at all what you are saying about them leaving Hamm out. Of course they didn’t! He’s John Ratzenberger’s character, and there was no chance of them cutting his part. Its also debatable what he is made out of, someone should ask Lee on his Formspring.

Plus not only is Bo breakable, but also cannot run or jump, this is the same reason RC was minimized in TS2.

People should just accept that Bo Peep isn’t coming back. I think the movie was better without her.
