Current Mood

Somebody going nerdrage at me :')…

It’s actually quite funny.

well theres a new word lol…

Haha, Google it, it’s not new at all. XD

Mood: Happy!
I’m happy because I got a bunch of new clothes today, and I did pretty well today on a project I’m working on.

ellie-jessie-eve: Good luck at the fair! And look forward to college, it’s the best time of your life; no obligations, all the freedom!

Czarine: I’m sorry you had to encounter such jerks. I hope you’re happier here.

little_chef: Urgh, babes. Wait till you have to change his diaper! :unamused: As you can tell, I’m not a fan of tykes. Oh no TDIT, how can you not like kids? You monster! :stuck_out_tongue:

Current Mood: Immensely annoyed
So I’m gonna graduate, but I have to run a few errands first like booking my convocation gown, ordering my academic transcripts, paying the ‘graduation fee’ (Uh, as if paying for the studies alone was not enough!)…

Time to hustle, yo!

Mood: Annoyed and doubtful

Reason: I just found out that my friend who wants to see TS3 with me is miles away in a seaside town and won’t be back til Friday! Will I ever see this movie? I’m losing hope. And to make things worse, I have stomach ache, feel hopeless, and I don’t know how to recover. :frowning:

Poor AMI hope you feel better and see TS3

Aw… Ami, I’m starting to think the same tthing… I still haven’t seen the movie yet, and I’m afraid I’m not going to be able to see it in 3D (I’ve never seen a Pixar movie in 3D… something always happens that keeps us from getting to go). Anyways, your not alone with the TS3 thing! :frowning: and I hope your stomach gets better.

Ditto…

Haha, actually I’m quite enjoying taking care of him… changing a diaper isn’t as bad as you think. xDD As long as you don’t stress out, changing a diaper is fairly easy. I guess I just happen to be a very maternal soul and don’t mind it much. I do have to ask my mom for help every so often, like when I’ve been spending an hour trying to get him to sleep and he’s still awake, but I’m always learning different things from her and it makes it easier. By the time I have children of my own, I’ll be a pro.

Lol, you are kind of cruel to hate kids the way you do. Just remember that you were once that age, and someone had to take care of you! You should applaud those who have the gut to take care of babies and raise them, cuz I promise you it’s no easy task!

little chef

thedriveintheatre- high five I hate children. HATE THEM. Little brats. Be they babies or toddlers, I’m not having one!

And, ooh, gown? You have to show us photos.

Hope you feel better soon, Ami! And as for seeing Toy Story 3, why don’t you go and see it by yourself, or with family, and then see it again with your friend if possible? Seeing it twice is no bad thing, haha. But I hope you get to see it soon either way.

Mood: Excited.

Reason: Big night out tonight! Bought myself a new dress- it’s all gold and sparkly. A bunch of us are going to the nightclub in town (the ONLY nightclub in town ) for a friend’s birthday, and I feel like I haven’t been out properly in ages so this should be good.

What??? How could you not like babies or toddlers? :frowning: I helped raise most of my siblings, especially the last one, which included feeding him, singing him to sleep, changing his diapers… it did get tiring at times, but the work pays off in the end. How could you not like them? :unamused:

Snipe- As they were your siblings, your sort of had a duty to them and obviously you loved them to bits, so big respect to you for helping bring them up.

I’m an only child so I’ve never had to look after a child that actually means anything to me, and I work with children (unfortunately) who, generally, are brattish, selfish and horrible. I can understand that their parents love them (just about) but I guess my experiences of how other people’s children can behave has put me off wanting my own, for the time being at least. Plus I’m not very maternal, and ironically I realise that I can be a bit selfish myself (being an only child does that to you ) so the idea really just doesn’t appeal to me. Even younger children like babies and toddlers seem so demanding and time-consuming, as much as the ‘end product’ as such might be worth it.

Yeah, lizardgirl, I understand… I suppose I sounded to rough earlier… I wasn’t meaning for it to sound that way. I see what your talking about, too… I have met some kids before that are way to spoiled. I’ve never had to babysit someone outside of my own family, and I guess it’s rather different in those cases. :sunglasses:

Mood: Frustrated

Reason: Just when I finished my sketches and went to scan them, my scanner got busted and now I have to wait for hours until it gets repaired. :frowning: And I was just about to update my dA account too. sighs

That must be frustrating. :frowning: That happens to me all the time when I’m trying to post my fanfictions.

:frowning: You guys are so heartless! I can understand where you’re coming from with the bratty children, because I know some myself… but they don’t all turn out that way. Some babies are of different temperaments than others, and this baby that I’m sitting in particular is a very easy going kid, not to mention gosh-darn cute, making him just irresistible to love. <3

It must be just me then, loving babies so much. Yeah, I’m kind of an oddball, I know. :stuck_out_tongue:

Ahh, looks like he just woke up from his very long afternoon nap. I can see him squirming around in the playpen we set up in my room. Time to put away my writing and posting for a while, I suppose.

little chef

hey i have a 9 year old brother who acts the same way so i know what your talking about!!!

It can be a pain to raise children, especially when they’re still babies (nightshifts ftw…) but it pays off… If done right, of course. If you don’t raise your children well, they end up as… well, probably nothing good.

Parent’s influence is underrated, they have more influence than people think.

I absolutely agree with you there.
