Reason: I FINALLY finished the lineart for my fanart today. I even scanned it and now I’m working on coloring it with Photoshop. I probably won’t finished it tomorrow though, but I’m aiming to get it done on Sunday. My dA account seriously needs more activity, lol, I seriously suck at keeping it updated.

Current Mood: Pleased but nervous
Pleased because I had a great day out with two different groups of friends. I went to a cosplay convention with the first group this morning till afternoon (I didn’t dress up, but I did have ramen for lunch!). Then I joined the second group at school for a ‘board game session’ (but we ended up playing card games instead!). And tomorrow I’m going to watch a movie with my family (it’s been a long time since we had a family viewing at the cinemas!) followed by dinner with a few mates.
Nervous because I have two assignments due next week and I haven’t started on either! And I planned to watch Inception with a few friends on Cheap Tuesday, but one of the assignments is due the next day! With the busy day tomorrow and school on Monday, and some fanworks that really need to get done, I’m all worried about whether I’ll have enough time!
Haha, thanks all! I’m pretty excited to start making videos and all that awesome junk I’ve wanted to do forever on this sweet thing. And Czarine, I doubt I’ll break it myself… all the way back home from downstate, I cringed every single time the car went over a bump, thinking that my precious computer’s back there bouncing around… and I flip out if I get fingerprints on it. 
It’ll be kinda hard to break unless I screw the thing completely up, which I’m sure won’t happen either!
TDIT: I had almost enough money to go get it myself, and my mom called Best Buy and asked if we could get the Teacher’s Discount ($100 off!) even though she’s a homeschooling teacher (she still qualifies since she files all of our transcripts through the state and whatnot). She had some money set aside to pay taxes that she said she’d use to cover the rest (I feel really bad she had to use it, but she said she wanted to get it for my birthday)… I’m going to pay her back the difference as soon as I possibly can. All of my babysitting money from here on out is going to her, and if I can start making some DVDs for people right off the bat (as long as I can get my VCR hooked up to the Mac, we’re clear for liftoff), I’m sure I’ll make up the difference here soon.
Honestly, she told me on Thursday, “Hey, if they have your computer in stock at BestBuy, maybe we can go and get it tomorrow!” So, yeah, it was kinda last minute, but everything ended up working out, praise the Lord.
Ahhhh, I’m so happy. I really hate this keyboard, not gonna lie, but the mouse! THE MOUSE is amazing! <3 The only problem is, iPhoto won’t even open, and the thing is brand new. All it does when I click on it is a question mark appears on the icon down in the dock. I can’t even find the program in the Applications folder, so I’m not sure what I have to do to get it working. 
I think I just totally went ahead and described what mood I’m in.

woody, I know how you feel. But I hope things start looking up for you, and it’s good that you’re picky about your artwork- that’s the way to improve!
Sounds like you’re very busy at the moment, thedriveintheatre. Hmm, well I guess the best thing you can do is try to get those assessments done ASAP, but I hope you manage to squeeze it all in on time.

Mood: Really tired, yet super happy.
I just had an awesome weekend. My friends came over, and we just had the best time. We talked my friend into seeing Up. (She usually hates Pixar) and she really liked it! Then we had some awesome cake. And then we all finally went to bed around 1 in the morning. The only bad thing is that the air mattress had a leak.
Anyway, then the next day we goofed off on the computer, and then I opened my gifts. I even got a portable dvd player! shriek of joy

Mood: Accomplished
Reason: I got iPhoto fixed, dumped some pictures into it, added my music to iTunes, installed and set up Skype, figured out how to work Handbrake and VLC so I can rip DVDs for MV projects, and customized my desktop background (it’s one I found a while back of WALL-E hanging from the “Edit” drop-down list). I’d say I got quite a bit accomplished today! I’d load all of my stories and such onto the Mac, but I’m not sure I’ll be able to write and save them in Rich Text Format on the Mac so that it’s still readable and editable on my Windows computers. I’ll be doing some research on that!

Mood: Really excited!
Reason: Tonight is my final performance of Rent. This summer has been so amazing being able to hang out and perform this wonderful show with an amazing cast. I know we will go out on a bang tonight! It is bound to be our best performance yet. Heck, I even may tear up. Then after the show everyone is coming over my house for a massive dance/slumber party. We are going to have food, music, cool lighting, games, movies, and lotso’ pillows. I hope everyone has fun. My house is a bit small, so it may be cramped with 30ish people staying over.

I went to pick up the PC I currently have last year, with my dad… after waiting for 5 weeks. It actually tipped over and shoved back and forth in the trunk when we were on the way home (dad decided to go through some farmlands… IT WAS SHORTER ><). I nearly died worrying, I’m sure.
Anyway, I hope you and your Mac will have a great time together.

I went out to dinner with my friends, which was a lot of fun! It makes me sad that I only have a week and a day until my college classes start.
Oh, and fair update. I sold my steers yesterday. One for $3.75 a lb and the other $3.00 a lb. (most kids in my FFA club sold for $2.00) I’m not sure how much I’ve made yet, but my estimate is around $2,000.
I miss my steers a lot though. I cried yesterday when I had to give them up. I walked them up a hill to these pens where the trucks would take them to slaughter. It was a tearful goodbye.
