Current Mood

Mood: Proud of myself

Reason: On Sunday afternoon I got really bored, so I recorded myself rambling about the HtTYD books and movie and stuff with the webcam, then I played around with it in iMovie and ended up turning it into a sort of video blog entry. After a good while of thinking it over, I decided to put it up on YouTube.

I’m still a bit nervous of the fact that my face is now strewn all over the internet, but I had way too much fun with it and I really hope other HtTYD fans can appreciate my geekiness.

So yeah, I’m proud of myself for making my first video in iMovie and having it turn out decent! :stuck_out_tongue:

Thanks ellie-jessie-eve and thedriveintheatre!

Wow, a class in which you talked about The Incredibles? Sounds good to me, The Star Swordsman! Hope your week continues to improve!

Massive congratulations on graduating, thedriveintheatre! You Bachelor you!

Just finished watching The Incredibles, so I’m in a great mood!!

Pixar movie= Instant happiness

Exactly. :-D)

Mood: Very touched

Reason: I’m listening to a Bruno Mars song “Just the Way You Are”, and it’s making me sad, yet hopeful inside. I wish one day that I would get to sing this song to someone special to me.

Mood: Alright

Yesterday I had my wisdom teethed pulled; all four. Two of them were impacted, meaning they hadn’t pertruded from the gums yet. I didn’t blead too badly, and I didn’t have to use the heavy drugs they prescribed for me, thank goodness. The most pain I experienced was at lunch yesterday, but I’m still taking advil just in case. I slept upright on the couch last night so if I bled/drooled it wouldn’t get all over the sheets. Fortunately there was none of that! I still have to ice my face though; it is a little swollen. Actually, it swelled up more over night. It is weird how I can feel chuncks of the inside of my mouth where the dentist drilled… at least he stitched it up for me!

Mood: Pretty good, relaxed.
I’m just chilling out right now, got nothing to do until my Bible group meets tonight. And we’re having pizza tonight! WOOHOO!

Mood: impatient and hungry

Reason: I’m waiting for my brother to finish his class, so i can go home and get a bite to eat.

Mood: Irritated
Reason: Just finished a math assignment on conversions, which are not fun.

ouch love70ways! I haven’t had my teeth pulled yet (The magic number is September 25, exactly a month from now… weird) I’ve heard that it hurts a lot, but hey, you don’t ever have to do it again

Mood: Tired, kinda happy though

Reason: Well on top of having a late night yesterday, I only got about two hours of sleep, so I’ve been tired and grumpy pretty much all day.

But, I’m happy cuz I got to get the first two Scott Pilgrim comic books (or graphic novels, I’m not sure) but I’m so excited to read them  Plus me and a friend are probably going to see Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World tomorrow, and if we do, it’ll be my third time seeing it, and i don’t think I’ve ever done that with a movie before. This is seriously one of the best movie I’ve ever seen.

Haha, my sis plays that all the time! It’s the only song she’s good at and it annoys me to no end! :stuck_out_tongue:

I saw it in theatres, and while it was entertaining, I didn’t feel it was ‘big-screen material’. But it’s good 'enuff.

Oh my gawd, ‘How to Break a Dragon’s Heart’! I think you know I mentioned I really wanted to read that! :open_mouth:

Thanks, lizardgirl! And you’re just beginning your uni journey!

I heard that song for the first time yesterday, TSS. If there’s one male rap singer who stands for all that is good and wholesome today, it’s probably Mr Mars.

Yup, it’s like that. Had my wisdoms pulled out and eating felt like a chore for the next few days. Thank goodness it’s not permanent!

Better than Wall-E? Glad to hear your rave reviews mo, I’m thinking of giving it a watch on DVD!

Current Mood: Relieved
So I finished one assignment ahead of schedule and submitted it online a few hours before the deadline today. The old folks were naturally pleased and they’re in a good mood now. I got a buttload of other errands to run tomorrow, but for the time being, I’m clear. And just half an hour more to the next episode of Rush! Sergeant Awesome Blake GO!!! :smiling_imp:

Mood: somewhat shocked and ok.

Reason: Today I was on my way to a college orientation, when we accidentally collided with another car. It wasn’t anything serious, however. We ended up returning home immediately. I praise God for having kept us alive.

^ I’m glad you’re alright, JustSoWall-eCrazy! I’ve only been in one vehicle accident in my life, and it was scary.

Mood: Excited.

Reason: I just ordered my Wacom Cintiq tablet! 8D

Ooh! That is exciting! I really need to get myself one of those…

JSWeC: Oh my word, I’m so glad to hear that you’re all right! Car accidents are very scary. :frowning: Praise God for everyone’s safety - I’ll be sure to say an extra prayer for ya when you head out to college.

Czarine: You lucky dog, you! :stuck_out_tongue: Congrats! It’ll definitely come in handy - I just have a really cheap tablet, but I love it to pieces… so I’m sure a Cintiq will definitely become your best friend.

Mood: Relieved and accomplished

Reason: Today was my last day babysitting, and I got my last paycheck. Now I just need to make $100-odd in order to pay off my Mac entirely.

Tonight I have orientation for Year 2 of my church’s School of Ministry - and I’m pretty pumped. I loved last year, and I’m so looking forward to entering my second year. happy dance

This really doesn’t have much to do with my mood, but I thought it was too long to post in the Status Updates thread:

Today my sister came over in the morning to plan her wedding. She and her boyfriend got engaged just last week when we were in Disney World. I woke up and read while she and my mother discussed various things. They eventually finished up, and we decided to go out for lunch. I suddenly had a craving for a toasted and cheesy sandwich, so I suggested we go to Friendly’s. We headed out and then all of a sudden my father called to see how planning was going. Since the nearest Friendly’s is in the town of the Air Force base he works on, he decided to meet us for lunch. It was very exciting to get to go out to lunch as a family! Lunch was really tasty (I had a honey barbeque chicken super melt and a mint chocolate chip sundae) and I was in good spirits.

My mom and I then headed out with my sister. We went to drop her off at her apartment and then she invited us in to see the wedding invitation she designed. The invitation was beautiful! My mom and I then went to the car to leave. Unfortunately, my mom’s car wouldn’t start. She drives a push button start car, and the engine just didn’t want to turn on. So, we went back to my sister’s apartment to try and give the car a chance to rest. She was about to start exercising on her Wii Fit, so my mother and I just sat on her very comfortable couch to watch. Soon though, my mom and I both fell fast asleep.

I think when my sister finished her workout she woke us up, but I’m not really sure. Anywho, my mom and once again tried to leave, but the car still wouldn’t start. We sat there for 15 minutes trying various things and reading various manuals, but the engine did not want to give in. So my mom called AAA and I headed back to my sister’s apartment. She was about to go into the shower, and I think I scared her when I knocked on the door. My mom came in after talking to AAA and the Nisaan dealership, and so I played the New Super Mario Bros Wii. It was the first time all summer I played videogames. My sister still doesn’t have a broadcast recieving television, so I there was nothing to watch and I had to pass the time somehow. The game was fun though.

We ended up spending about three hours unintentionally at her place. The tow truck came to bring the car to the dealership, and then my mom and I were going to walk home (we live fairly close). My sister was making dinner by that time and was also expecting a guest to arrive, so she couldn’t drive us home. However, just as we were about to leave her fiance came home from work and took as home.

So that was my day. It wasn’t very exciting, but I just really wanted to share it with all of you. If you took the time to read it, thanks.

JSWC: Thank God you and your company were not injured in the car accident. I hope there was no trouble with the other driver, as far as exchanging information and insurrance goes.

Czarine: What is a Wacom Cintig tablet? Sounds exciting!

little chef: Isn’t it always great to feel accomplished? Congrats on that, and good luck with the School of Ministry. I’m sure you will have a wonderful time.

Praise God you’re all right, JustSoWall-eCrazy!
And sounds like you had a nice day, love70ways!
As for me, I’m pretty tired. My mom dragged me up and down 3 clearance aisles in Wal-Mart, which took exactly 53 minutes.

Ooh, that doesn’t sound fun. I never liked Wal-Mart, and don’t shop there.
