Current Mood

Mood: a little shuffled
Reason: We were in a car accident today. Everyone’s fine, but now my pastor is looking for us a new van now.

IV: Oh geez, glad to know you’re okay. Car accidents are not fun.

Mood: depressed, but trying to stay positive.

Alot’s going on right now, and it’s starting to make me upset. God knows what He’s doing, and I just need to keep trusting that He only wants the best for me and my family.

I might not be able to get online for a long time; pretty much a hiatus. So, not like anyone will really really miss me or anything, but I just wanted to let you guys know. K?

On the upside, I actually drew a decent picture of Roxanne from Megamind, and I’m going to be drawing some more pretty soon. Yay!

IV: Aww, sorry to hear! I’ve been in an accident once… can be some very scary stuff. Now that I’m my own driver though, I’m not looking forward to being in my own :~o

DoE: Aww huggs Things will work out. Glad to hear you’re trying to stay positive through the situation, that’s not always an easy thing to do, but it always makes the situation a little better. We’ll miss you; I hope everything is resolved soon! You and your fam will be in my prayers. // Awesome about a successful drawing! That’s always exciting!

CANSPRINGBREAKCOMEANYFASTER?!

Hitting up Disneyland for the first time next week, and spending the second half in SF. Any suggestions to what I should do in SanFran, anyone? :stuck_out_tongue:

Also, I snapped my car key (in half! but not in the ignition thankfully!) so we got a new key made last night, and my poor baby is now driveable again

IV: Wow, that’s scary! Glad everyone was okay, though.
DoE: I’ve been through tough times like that, and it’s not fun at all. I’ll be praying for you and your family.

Thanks so much, guys. Your prayers are very much appreciated.

Feeling a bit better 'cuz my brother helped me get a good laugh in while he’s playing video games. It always turns into something funny when he plays games.

I was also able to work on some more drawings, like one of Minion and another of Megamind. I’m hoping to fill an entire page (and then some) with Megamind-related drawings. I haven’t been able to draw like this in several weeks, so it feels great to get back into it. :stuck_out_tongue:

You’ll have a great time, I love Disneyland, and San Francisco! My favorite resteraunt in the city is The Cliff House. It’s historic and beautiful. and Pier 39 is a must see, there might be sea lions! Chinatown is fun too.

Alcatraz, walking across the Golden Gate Bridge, and Height/Ashbury are, from what I’ve heard, fun too. I haven’t done them though!

Wow, times sure are tough… I wish you the best of luck, DoA, and for your safe return online. Tell little_chef the same thing. On a positive note, what’s with the sudden Megamind fanart craze? Mitch is doing the same thing! Must be the DVD coming out.

thewisecookiesheet: I assume you’re talking about the one in Orlando? I went there (and California Adventureland) six years ago and I still have pleasant memories of it. I’m sure you’ll have tons of fun, bring back pictures, mmmkay?

Current Mood: Annoyed

I’m kinda miffed about the Cars 2 and Kung Fu Panda 2 trailers- they were a little underwhelming for me.

Also I had an annoying day today with a lecturer giving vague instructions about assignments and team members who can’t speak a word of English and me not speaking a word of Mandarin… I’ve always prided myself on being a multiculturalist, but what’s the point of studying in an English-language university if you can’t speak the medium of instruction?

I also have a 300-word article, a cartoon I’m pitching which I haven’t drawn the first panel yet, and a longer essay about the recent Toy Story 3 Oscar debacle that I’m planning to submit to my college magazines, and I haven’t started on either yet.

My parents had a row this morning, and I’m on eggshells with my brother because he was reluctant to help me with contacts for an interview and I had to get my dad to ‘armtwist’ him into it.

And I still have a half-completed Rango drawing which I want to finish and upload already!

I know this sounds kind of petty in comparison to what some of you are going through, but I needed to get this off my chest.

Thanks, Cookie, K9, and DoE.

Mood: okay
Reason: today was pretty mellow, and next week is Spring Break!! :sunglasses:

Mood: satisfied

Reason: I kicked butt in COD today.

Mood: Over the moon!

Reason: Thurop Van Orman, the creator of The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack, told me that I should totally do my radio show. I didn’t need his endorsement. But it did make me feel reeeeeally good about myself.

Edit: He says he wants me to send it to him when I’m done too! Excuse me while I go running through the streets of my town screaming with excitement and joy.

Mood: busy

Reason: working on homework before my next class.

That’s great that he likes it! What an honor!

Mood: Annoyed

Reason: I feel better from my flu, but this cough won’t go away, no matter what drop, syrup or medicine I use.

Mood: Prayful

Reason: The 8.9 Earthquake and Tsunami in Japan. I live in the Bay Area, so there are rumors going around for a Tsunami Watch, but so far not an official one has been released for California, I hope it stays that way. It does bring to mind that I live in Earthquake country.

EDIT: There is a Tsunami watch for the area I’m living in, Tsunami due to hit California at 8:08.

I hope you’re okay, Kenzie!! I’ll pray with you.

Great, Aero!! I’m very happy for you.

Thanks Virginia! Save your prayers for Japan though, they’re going to need it a lot more!

I’ll just cover anyone affected just in case.

Mood: sore

Reason: I got myself a leg cramp.
