No, because it is a site-wide rule, and if you can’t abide by the rules, unfortunately we may have to take other action.
Please be cooperative with us. It’s not hard to use a site like Picnik to correctly resize any image you want to fit the signature rule.

annarborjack, we’re not being sizeist. the mods and i have agreed that having smaller sigies would help people so they won’t have to scroll more than usual. And i know you’re mad, but if you want, you can pm me or one of us.
annarborjack, please grow up. We’re not being evil about this. You shouldn’t want to quit just because we ask you to make your siggy smaller.
See, that one looks fine, annarborjack. No need to get so upset. It can be a frustrating rule at times but there’s no need to take it out on the mods who are simply enforcing the rule, nor on the entire board. Thank you for finding one that sufficiently abides by the new rule.

I keep trying to post something but the mods keep posting stuff. I was going to put “Bored” but now I’m mad. Please let me post something.
annarborjack, no one was stopping you from posting in the first place. The site only alerts you when there have been new posts made before you make a post so that in case the conversation turned and your post was no longer relevant, you’d have a chance to adjust it accordingly.
Please cool down, no one is harassing you or needlessly bossing you around. We were only enforcing the rules and aren’t out to make members angry or uncomfortable. If you have an issue, please take it up with one of the other mods you trust, as TSS mentioned above.

Sure. Don’t worry, i won’t judge. But I’ll be sure to bring up the issue.
I think the main reason people hate this rule is because it came out of nowhere. We were just forced to make are sigs smaller, if we don’t, were being disrespectful. I think if we at last got a heads up or a vote on to change the rule, it would not be hated. I’m not sure about other members but I never had a problem with the big sigs. If they did that’s alright but I never had a problem with them. I know it got a poor response when it was brand new with quite a few members, including me, complaining about it. But if we got a message that it was gonna change so it woulden’t be so fast or a vote to change the rule, I think it would not be a really hated rule.
I;ll play devils advocate here, but think about it. Don’t you think it could be a little hectic if everyone had big siggies and the siggies are always bigger than the content of the posts?
We don’t have to change it back to a big size. But if you guys ever choose to, you should give everyone heads up first so we can prepare for it and not be rused on it.
Okay, I’ll mention it to the staff to give everyone a heads up before a rule change.
