Mood: Happy.
Why: I made a video.

I know that feeling. I’ve had ipods, computers, cars, phones break. It’s starting to feel like a curse.

Mood: Happy happy joy joy

Reason: My paycheck arrived and it was a little more than expected, so I bought this beautiful Maleficent bust. When I went to Disney World in high school, I remember seeing a similar, large figurine of Maleficent with green flames licking all around her, and I fell in love. It was the same price, and even though I had my own birthday money, my mom refused to let me buy it. :unamused: Now’s my chance to own something similar to that one figurine.

^Wow, very cool! How many figurines of Disney do you have now?

I love buying new things! I recently got those Dr. Seuss converse I wanted, and tonight I’m ordering this shirt:

That’s a cute shirt! I bet the shoes are cute in person, too.

I have a good number of figurines. If you’re familiar with WDCC, those are the pricey, beautiful porcelain figures (prices are often $120-$500 and up). I have one of Ariel during the “Part of Your World” reprise, a large one of Peter Pan and the mermaids from the lagoon, and the Blue Fairy with Pinocchio. I also collect snowglobes and have about 7-8 of those, but they’re really just large figurines and not like a Christmas snowglobe. Other than that, I have a bunch of miscellaneous figurines. A bunch! If I put everything together (it’s mostly in storage because of college), I could fill a large bookcase easily. And it’s only going to keep growing. :open_mouth:

So yeah, I’m young and not exactly rolling around in cash, but I would say for my age I have a decent Disney collection! It’d be nice if I could just post a pic of everything I own gathered together, but alas, I don’t have all my stuff here.

Mood: Grumpy and a little anxious

Reason: An exam I’m required to take (now—no later!) is in a town 20-30 minutes outside of the city I’m in. Unfortunately, because anything outside the city is rural and the test begins at 7:15 AM, no public buses run at that point and I have to take a taxi, which costs $30. Fortunately, my boyfriend is also taking the same exam so we’re going together, but still. This is an exam for future teachers, and therefore college students will be the primary people taking it. Therefore, the exam site should be in the same city as where the major university in the area is located. No? $30 is okay for my boyfriend and I to pay, but I know a lot of people would have difficulty finding the money, and it shouldn’t be expected of everyone to have money for taxi rides. It’s also really quite hard to find carpoolers.

Oh yeah, and the exam is about 5 hours. -_- Apparently it varies and can either be completed as soon as the test taker is done, or it may be required for all test takers to wait for the time limit to begin the next subtest. I reeeeeeeally hope it’s not the latter, because that would mean I’d have to review my test over and over or just sit there in silence for a long time, because I can’t have a book, phone, or anything. I can’t even leave the room except to go to the bathroom. Totally looking forward to returning home around 2 PM. I’ll probably be hungry. Did I mention I hate this test?

Ugh, I know how you feel. As soon as spring break is over, I have two tests to come back to. Two tests that I last studied for 3 weeks ago and remember nothing about.

I’ve been really down this entire week. School may or may not help this.

Mood: Pretty pleased

Reason: Still not a lot of work to do this week. No exams, and my paper on postwar Hungarian cinema is almost done. I showed the recent draft to my professor and he complimented my work. Woop!

That’s so cool, collecting stuff is great. Especially when it’s Disney related.

I’m sorry to hear that, that’s so inconvinent! And your boyfriend wants to become a teacher too?

Yes, he’s planning to become a science teacher, which is obviously high in demand. We may end up in Chicago together, since inner-city districts are often hiring.

On a similar note…

Mood: Slightly relieved

Reason: Currently I have an average amount of school loans (for 4 years), and I was worried how much more I would acquire in my next 2 years of school since all my scholarships/college funds run dry, but it looks like I should be okay and my loans will be manageable!

^Yeah, that’s great news! I’m scared to death of college loans. I have a great record with loans, having an early start getting and paying them back with livestock in high school. But college of course is much more expensive, and I’m fearful of the job market once I graduate. o_0

Mood:Suprised

Reason: just realised i’ve been a member for a year ! :open_mouth: Time for an avatar change!

^Wow, that’s great! Happy anniversary!

Congratulations! That’s great.

Mood: OVER IT

Reason: School. I just want this semester over, and I’m not looking forward to finals week and the last couple weeks of school. I hate studying.

^ My finals won’t be difficult but I admit I’ve become lazy over the last few weeks. Though, to be fair, all three of my art history classes are either lecturing about material already covered in the other courses or on very recent art movements that I can grasp very easily.

Mood: Not terribly pleased

Reason: I locked myself out of my apartment. My roommate’s off at classes for the whole day and will not return to our place, which means unless I can get a hold of her and catch her during a break (whenever that is?), I’m out of luck. The problem is that (1) I have my Macbook with me and have no power adapter, and (2) I have a final exam at 6:00 and my textbooks are in my apartment! I haven’t even studied for that! I don’t even have a book to read… I guess I’m lucky I can get into my boyfriend’s apartment and make myself lunch.

^Oh no! I’m so sorry to hear that QoP, I can’t imagine how frustrating that’d be…

Wow nobody has used this topic since April!

Current Mood: Excited and Extremely Jealous

My most anticipated movie of the year Prometheus comes out this Friday and my last day of school is June 15th! I am so HYPED for the next 2 Fridays! But I am jealous about stuff because Prometheus got released in the UK last Friday, and this year I moved to a new school because I was bullied too much at my old school, but my friend who still goes to my old school told me he gets out for Summer on June 8th. Everybody is getting epic stuff before I do :imp:

I feel happy although mildly stressed out for tomorrow. I always get anxious when we have guests over, particularly relatives. I gotta make this room presentable

Mood: Really really really really happy.

Reason: My dad bought me a laptop that I have been waiting for, for months.
