Reason: I don’t really know what I’ll have for dinner, on account of my Mom is inviting Grandpa over to our house for morels.
Mood: worried, but chilled
Reason: kinda thinking of my family, but they assure me everything is fine for now.
Mood: Disappointed
Reason: Just went through another session of my “Visual Effects and Animation” class, and the teacher used at least half the class to talk about CGI applied to live action movies, but only spent like half a minute talking about anything completely CGI (namely Merida’s hair).
And she either failed to even acknowledge what studio the movie was from, or screwed up on it (“Dreamworks…Pixar…those studios”).
Villaness: Ouch. Really, how does one not know Merida’s from Pixar? I mean, seriously!
Villainess: Okay, why does that happen all the time? Well, here’s something I’d like to say about that: I wish people would stop mixing up studios (and their titles) and start paying attention to the logos!
Speaking of that, I see a lot of art of “Disney characters”, and they infallibly include Merida, and Merida is the only Pixar character they include. So I assume they either really believe Merida is Disney, or they don’t like any other Pixar characters. Either way, Gross!
Evspixarfan, The Star Swordsman - To be fair to the teacher, she might have been trying to just list some studios, and just worded it awkwardly.
Granted, in that situation I’d expect more than two studios, but I got the impression she wasn’t very interested to begin with, so two sounds about right in all things considered.
IV: You might want to post that in that other thread, “You Know What Really Grinds My Gears?” (Just kidding–but seeing your post on here just now, if they don’t like any other Pixar characters…)
What?! They don’t like Pixar characters? Oh no…they’re probably trying to insult my favorite Pixar character, too? (which isn’t Merida, as far as I know–but seriously, he needs more attention)
