Mood: Refreshed, and a bit homesick
I’ve had quite the refreshing weekend considering I’ve been in and out of meetings all day for the past three days… just the teachings and stuff at these meetings were incredible, and unfortunately for those who are not walking as Christians, it’s so hard to describe the refreshment that’s filled me from being under such anointed preaching, teaching, and prophesying.
Man, to put it into words would just explode your heads. None of you would understand what I’m talking about. 
Anyhow, yeah, a bit homesick as well… as much as I love the feeling of being somewhere far away from the state I’ve lived in all my life, something in me just misses “home”. I miss my sister, I miss my cat, heck I even freakin’ miss my annoying brothers. Ugh, I don’t know… just everything in me screams to get away from the small, confined town I live in… I just wanna get out and breathe fresh air, see new places… escape from the mundane, familiar scenery, you know?
Plus, not really looking forward to the ten-hour drive back home. Luckily we don’t have to leave as early as Thursday.
I miss posting a lot, like I normally do, but as I said over at the ‘introduction/I’m back’ thread, I’ll get back into the groove as soon as Monday rolls around. Plus mo’s gonna be back from his dad’s, and I’m so stoked to be able to talk with him again. I miss him like crazy!!

Mood: Trying to stop a laughing fit
Reason: I just finished watching a clip from an old Paul Newman movie, Rally 'Round the Flag, Boys on YouTube. He was dancing really badly, and then, was randomly swinging on a chandelier! It was probably the funniest 3 minutes and something seconds of my life.
Mood: torn
Reason: on one hand, I got a new piece of music software today, which I’m really excited about (see my post in “Useless Talents/Facts” for a link to what I’ve done).
On the other, however, two of my family members now have swine flu. 
Current Mood: Good, but TIIIIIIRED
Reason: Well, I’ve been up for the last 30 hours watching every Pixar film for the marathon I held at the college (which went great!) and went to a friend’s birthday party. Had a great time, but I’m so exhausted. I could seriously use some sleep.
Mood: Depressed
Reason: Just finished watching one of Paul Newman’s movies, Cool Hand Luke. Don’t wanna spoil it for those of you who haven’t seen the movie before, but two things happen towards the end that made me bawl my eyes out.

Reson: Going to go play the WALL•E video game right now!

Reason: My parents came home with a Blu-ray player yesterday! I’m in class right now, I just wanna get out so I can go sink my teeth into that features disc! C’mon 1:15!

Reason: Finally back home, getting ready to unpack, and online catching up on everything that’s happened here in my absence. As I’ve already said even though it’s only been one weekend, I feel like I’ve been away from you guys for forever!
Probably going to work on some sigs this afternoon to get myself all settled in. Guys, I slept in my own bed last night. On my own pillow. And it was wonderful… <3 (You know how stiff and un-fluffy those hotel beds and pillows can be… 
)

I have a paper due in two weeks and I haen’t started on it yet.
Mood: Bored, yet excited and estatic
Reason: I’m currently bored at school, doing work, yet I’m done with this year. What a bore 
But why I am excited: I’ll be heading your way Planeteers in the US! I’m leaving in 2 days, and I’ll be escaping the Australian heat for great cold weather. Is it snowing anywhere as of yet? It’s going to be my first US thanksgiving also, I’ve heard a lot about it.
Mood: Depressed
One of my friends spent the weekend drawing Disney characters. She has a born talent and I couldn’t tell the difference between the pictures she used and the pictures she drew. I tried to the same thing but it turned out pretty good (I thought) but she said it looked messed up and her head looked wayy too big for her bady (she does have a knack for always speaking her mind) goodbye animation career…
Mood: Excited but stressed
I’m leaving the hot summer of Sydney to return to… the eternal hot weather of Singapore. But I’m so excited to see my family again, and soon after that we’ll be departing on a trip to rural China to rediscover our roots, pay our distant relatives a first (some I may actually be seeing for the first time) and have a great time seeing the sights together. But I’m really stressed cos’ I got a few last-minute things to take care of here; tidy the house up, bro’s paying the bills, final visit to my school to get my files, do the laundry, and I haven’t even packed my bag! And as of now, we have exactly 24 hours left to do all the above! 
But I think I’ll procrastinate a little longer around here before heading for lunch…
Current Mood: Tired, but content
Reason: As for tired, not too sure. I just am. Content because I got to sort through the entire Bonus Features disc on the Up Blu-Ray. It’s a real treat, I especially loved the one of Russell, and Carl’s was fantastic as well. Excellent package, big thanks to Pixar.
Practice makes perfect. Just because you can’t do it right, now doesn’t mean you won’t be able to later on. Just keep working on your drawing skill, and they will improve. Don’t give up on that careeer.

Reason: I have the flu and school was extremely stressful.
Cool! Where are you going to stay? I know that Texas has some good weather right now, it’s been in the 70s - 80s all week
And the only place I know that it has snowed is in Colorado, but probably any place higher has gotten some white stuff too.
Which brings me to…
Mood: Anxious
A week from now, I will only be 4 hours away from sitting in a log house seeing snow, real snow for the very. first. time. We’re also going skiing, so I can’t wait for that either. I’ve gone skiing before, but the snow just didn’t feel right. It was all padded down and stuff. It just made the trails look white instead of brown and rocky as other trails in Colorado look in the Summer. Whoo man. It’s going to be a 40 degree drop average as compared to what I’m used to.
Excited though.

I used to clean houses a few months ago with my “boss” (a good friend of mine), but my ex-employer said that we weren’t going to be working for her anymore because her daughter and her family was moving in with her and she would help clean her huge house (her house is sooooo big, it’s truly a mansion). So, I signed up for another school project that I can do during the time I used to clean my ex-employer’s mansion. Well… guess what!!! She decided to call my boss tonight, out of the blue, and say she wants me to be there on Friday. This lady, my EX-employer, has walked on all her past house cleaners, and that’s what makes me so mad! She thinks everything revolves around her and I gotta be there no matter what I have on my schedule. Whatever!!! I think I’m gonna tell her no. She already said we were NO LONGER going to work for her, so this is her own fault. Bye bye, lady!
