Mood: Productive, but conflicted
Saw Avatar again today. Yee gads how I adore that movie. I’d see it again (and probably will) but I think it’s time I saw PATF again. It’s been well over a week and I want to study the animation closer.
Or a sadder note, I found out that one of our models at school died. Really freaking sad. He was a great contributor to the school.

Reason: today I had a completely unproductive day and I loved it 
Woke up and just hung out around my house all day. Texted some friends, talked to mah girlfriend, which is why I’m super happy cuz I finally got to skype with her, which she said on the last page but still, it was totally awesome. <3 Also I’m going to see Avatar tomorrow with a friend, so that should be fun

I’m in Penang now with my grandparents, and I can’t work on my mash-ups cos’ I don’t have my external hard drive. So I’m just killing time on the forums and checking up on trailers. I’ll be seeing an old friend for dinner tonight, though, so it should be interesting. But right now, I’m dying to complete my final trailer parody for the year before 2009 ends…

However, I’ve been pretty far from this place lately, thanks to my family being home and my continuing sleep problems. I’m sorry, I really do miss you guys, I wish I was here more often. I haven’t forgotten you all, and I really hope I’ll have more posts around here and I can be more active soon.

Reason: Got the house cleaned up so we don’t have to worry about it on Christmas, so now I’m just chilling out on the boards and making a pot of coffee, mmm…<3 (it should be done soon, yay )

I’m really sorry to hear that, Haunt, very sad news indeed and must be quite shocking for your school, as well as, of course, his family.

Mood: Very happy.
Reason: I just spent the day with my boyfriend, went to the cinema with him to see Where The Wild Things Are and just generally hung out with him. I’m not going to see him again until the end of January so we definitely made the most out of today, which was nice.
Plus, it’s Christmas in a few days! Whooo!
Mood: A little depressed
I learned today that a student at my school, passed away today in a car accident. All I know is that the truck did a barrel roll, and he was the passenger. He died, but the other 3 were taken to the hospital. This also happened at the Target that is a two minute walk away from my school. I didn’t know him very well, I just know that he played tuba and was in ROTC, but his close friends were hit really hard.
It is being covered by the local news station, so I’m hoping there will be something else revealed. But as of right now, it’s unknown what caused the car to flip.
So sad. It’s so close to Christmas.
thewisecookiesheet, wow. That’s really sad. It’s crazy how fragile life is and how easily it can be taken away. I hope that his friends are doing okay.
Mood: Pretty good and excited
Reason: Today I had a pretty good day. I talked with little_chef_eva09 for a while and I went to see Avatar (which I liked, but I wasn’t, like, blown away by it or anything, overall I’d give it a B ) with a friend, so that was a blasty-blast. 
Also I’m going to (another) christmas party tomorrow, which makes 5 in the last 2 weeks, but this is the last one i think. Still, should be fun.
Mood: Contemplative
Reason: I’m wondering how my half sister is doing… I dunno the last time I talked to her. It’s been half my lifetime at least. But I’m worried I won’t be able to contact her. We never were close or anything, but I can’t help feel a connection to her anyway. It’s strange.
I mean, I tend to forget I even HAVE ONE. I don’t know her LAST NAME. I don’t even know if she’s ALIVE.
Mood: Relieved
Reason: For the first time in two years at work, I get to have Christmas Eve off!

Yes, it’s also Christmas Eve over here (it’s 9:45 pm), so we’re just hours away from X-Day! I just got back from the airport after my family trip to Penang. Got two awesome gifts for myself (both cost 20 bucks altogether, so it’s a small purchase), and the new laptop my folks ordered for me a couple weeks ago is here! I can’t wait to unwrap 'em tomorrow morning and maybe post a photo or two later…
