That looks absolutely AMAZING totoro! really really beautiful. I hope you have lots of fun JustSoWall-eCrazy- I totally know what you mean, I’m doing the same exact thing xD
Mood: excited!
reason: well for one, I got to see Prince of Persia last night, which got me in a good mood, and now I’m shopping for Toy Story 3 merch
totoro - Count yourself lucky! Off the top of my head, I can think of two religious attractions that I want to visit in France; the Sacré-Cœur Basilica and Mont Saint-Michel…
woody - Did you enjoy PoP? I really want to watch it after my last assignment next week!
Current Mood: Upset, but hopeful
I had a really bad day yesterday. To make a long story short, there were a lot of miscommunications (and lack thereof) between my friends and assignment groupmates, a huge row with my brother, sister and parents (practically my entire family), missed deadlines and meetings (that’s plural, I had a lot planned that day), the emotional meltdown of one of my group members, a long night spent overnight in school, and an unfinished project due Monday and an unstarted one due Wednesday.
Friday had to be one of the most unbelievably worst days of my life! At least as far as I can remember.
After my highly-strung group member stopped bawling and started working, after I clarified to the respective people about the missed meetings, after I patched things up with my siblings and folks, after working like hell and getting only two hours of sleep this morning, I think the situation should improve from here on. We are going full-steam ahead tomorrow and once my group assignment is handed up on Monday, I’m gonna start on my individual one due Wednesday. It’s gonna be a close one, and I’m afraid I can’t afford to spend any more time here for the time being.
So I’m unable to attend any of the PPlanet-Chat-O-Rama sessions for the rest of this weekend (and you guys are free to organise next week’s weekday sessions if you want), and I will be MIA for the next three days… so yeah, gotta get crackin’. I’m this close to losing my mind.
totoro- I’ve always wanted to go to Lourdes, it looks beautiful! My next trip to France will definitely include a trip to Lourdes. Glad to hear that you really enjoyed it/are going to enjoy it.
Eep, good luck with all the stuff you’ve got going on at the moment, thedriveintheatre. It might be a very stressful time right now, but I’m sure it’ll all be worth it.
Mood: Excited.
Reason: Got a couple of my best friends coming round tonight for dinner, drinks and Disney movies!
Reason: Did a few songs on Dance Praise, and got really tired. Because I was sweating a lot, I downed a whole bottle of Sobe LifeWater (0 calories!) to re-hydrate myself, and now I’m watching Revenge of the Sith on TV!
Reason: Well, I’m tired because I was skateboarding all day with some friends, and now I’m all sore. I have a feeling of waning epicness because going into this weekend, I was really excited because it’s memorial weekend and I was really looking forward to relaxing and doing fun non-school stuff. I gotta say, it was a pretty amazing weekend so far, but now it’s almost over, and tomorrow I have to finish all the homework that I procrastinated on, which is probably going to take all day. And then it’s back to school and I have finals.
Reason: Ehhh, just a long weekend, I guess, with so much stuff going on… and soooo much FOOD. Seriously. If I don’t eat another cheeseburger for about a month, I’ll be good.
I haven’t been sleeping the greatest recently, and I just feel so tired all the time and procrastinate a lot more than I usually do (which is a lot… xDDD but still, I feel like it’s been worse recently). Not really sure what’s going on, but maybe it has to do with not eating breakfast the entire weekend. I finally kicked that strange absolutely-hating-breakfast-cuz-it-makes-me-gag thing, and eat breakfast every morning, so my body’s finally gotten back into the habit of eating in the morning and I ruined it with all the weird eating this weekend. Blah.
I watched Ratatouille last night, and it didn’t get done until around 10-ish cuz my sister and I started it late, then we stayed up late talking, so yeah, not the best sleep last night either. xDD But it felt soooo good to watch that movie again, and I really don’t regret losing sleep to watch it. ^^
It’s raining outside, and it feels like the bleak, cold, rainy island of Berk. So it’s no wonder my thoughts have been revolving around HtTYD all day, making me consider getting started on a new fanfic or finishing up a piece of fanart for it. I might do one of those things to pass the time until I have to go to church tonight.
I am so tired right now. I worked on a research paper on Shirley Jackson all of last night and fell asleep last period in math class.
I’m also pretty happy because I just finished Mean GIrls about an hour ago, and I loved it! The first, and only other time I watched it was 5ish years ago, so it was great to watch it again!
I have had one of the most amazing weekends in a really long time. We had our Film Festival on Friday, I went to SpeedZone (a go-kart and racing place) on Saturday, Six Flags on Sunday, Chilled on Monday, and passed my Pre-Cal class and got a card from a long time pen pal Today
Honestly, I’m not quite sure how I pulled out that last bit out of me, but I did. Passed the class with a 73 for the year.
Well done on passing your class, thewisecookiesheet! Sounds like you’ve had an amazing weekend.
And congratulations, Ami! Does it feel special being an auntie? Must be so exciting!
Mood: Apprehensive but excited.
Reason: Seems like we’re putting our house on the market…It’s definitely a good thing and I like moving house, but my life’s going to be changing radically in the next few months so it’s a lot at once. We really do need to move soon though, as at the moment my bedroom window overlooks a lovely field, once filled with cows and chickens, but from this October, they’re going to be building houses there. So moving ASAP means we retain the value of our house and we also won’t have to put up with continuous building work for months on end. It’ll be worth moving in the end.
Thanks, lizardgirl!
It feels weird being an auntie so young. And my 11-month-old sister is an auntie too, she’s really young!
I won’t see him for a while as he has to stay in hospital but I am excited!
Hope moving house won’t be so hectic for you either. Good luck, I’m sure it will be worth it in the long run.
Yeah, some how I struck gold this year, everything seems to have some ‘closure’ to it, it’s all just going right for once!
I made it back into the top band at my school, after having serious doubts after auditions, and both of the exams I had today, I think I did well, despite on how fast I got them done. I just knew my stuff today, which was extreamly nice.
thewisecookiesheet: Dinner Impossible is a show on the Food Network. The idea is this one chef is pressed with an incredibly difficult dinner order, that might very well be impossible. Each assignment has a special theme. In this episode, the chef needs to prepare dinner for 250 volunteers based on three Disney princesses; Tiana, Belle, and Snow White. His cooking station is in EPCOT, and at the French resteraunt in the World Showcase, an animatromic Remy visits dinner guests. The show was at Pixar not too long ago! The chef needed to prepare dinner for the rap party of Ratatouille, I do believe. Lou Romano was assigned to help the chef; it was great!
