well just let me say “age is just a number not a date” meaning dont let your age stop you from being what you want to be or do. No matter how big you number is if your 86 and want to be young again then be young. If you never want to act like an adult then dont, what im trying to say is do what you want or be no matter what your age…

Now as for “Manning up” i think what most people think what that phrase means is “stupid” for better terms… People take it as Being tough which is incorrect. Being a “man” means taking responsibility for you actions and caring for what or who you love… Now thats not saying you cant do what you want you can you just have to take responsibility for you actions. Just remember do what you want and let no one tell you otherwise because they will just hold you back… My 2cents…

Mood: Sleepy

Reason: It is 2:14 am by me. I just love Pixar Planet so much that I can’t quit!

Also, my brain hurts from thinking about Inception for the past hour.

Ah, being up on the internet past 2 in the morning. I know those nights very well!

Not really a bad boy, but I just wanna be a person who, well. I can’t explain it.

I shouldn’t of said Wibur, cause I read some MTR fanfictions, and in one, Wilbur was different and acted like a ‘bad boy’ so…

TDIT: Please don’t quote entire posts.

annarborjack- All I’ll say is, be yourself. If being a bad boy as such comes naturally to you, then great! But don’t try to force yourself to adhere to some sort of tag.

We’ll certainly miss you here, but I look forward to your return in a couple of years!

Chuckles- That sounds like a lot of fun! A mini Pixar marathon is a great idea, even if it is a bit tiring.

mo- Glad to hear you’re feeling good! And wow, the desert? I don’t think I could handle those temperatures! Still, sounds like you’re going to have a really good time, and any holiday is a good holiday.

Mood: Excited.

Reason: Going to see a play today, called La Bete. To be honest the only reason I’m seeing it is because it’s got one of my favourite actors of all time in it- David Hyde Pierce (Niles from Frasier, also Slim from A Bug’s Life). Eeep, can’t wait!

Have buckets of fun!
It’s funny you mention La Bete, because I was informed today by my friend that a local acting troupe is performing La Bete in August. I can’t wait to see it, even though I don’t know too much about it. I just love theater!
And seriously, David Hyde Pierce? Lucky you!

Mood: Dizzy, Hyped

Reason: I’m caught up in this hype of Pixar Planet exploding ATM! There’s so many people online and the Off-Topic section especially is on fire! XD

If I don’t seem to be posting for a while, it’s because there’s too many people trying to post at once and I always get left behind because my DSi is slower than a computer/laptop.

Still, this is when the boards really come alive and I love it!

Thanks, ellie-jessie-eve! It was amazing, seeing David Hyde Pierce in the flesh…Wow. And it was a great play! I’m sure you’ll love it when you see it in August, it was very funny.

Haha, I’m loving it too Ami! Lots of fun!

LUCKY!!!

I noticed that too. Sometimes it wouldn’t even show me the pages.

Mood: Sleepy
Reason: Waking up at 8:15 is too early. Especially when I have a hard time falling asleep when I go to bed.

im on the computer and when i cant access it i use my phone :smiling_imp: :smiling_imp: :smiling_imp:

Mood: Exhausted but Accomplished. I also feel like my arm is going to fall off!

Reason: Two weeks until County Fair. So I spent the last 3 hours working with my steers. (for those who don’t know, a ‘steer’ is bull with his, er, testicles removed. Steers are used for meat)

Anyway. When you take your steers (or sheep, or pigs) to fair, they’re in two contests where they’re judged. Market (where they’re judged by their body, for meat and carcess quality) and Showmanship (where the human is judged by how well they work with their animal and how well the animal is trained.)

So. I spent an hour working on showmanship with my steers. This meant pulling a 1300 lb steer, and another one that’s 1250 lbs. You need to use a stick to put their hooves in the right place. So my arm felt like it was going to FALL OFF! Because it was holding up the head of a very strong 1300 lb steer.

Then I gave my black steer, General Lee, a bath. And then I used a GIANT blow drier to blow him dry. Then we put powder on him to get rid of lice. I listened to the whole Cars soundtrack to get me in the zone :sunglasses:

Then another hour of showmanship with my other steer, Teddy, before feeding them

T minus 2 weeks, So excited and nervuos to see how they do in market and showmanship! Next week I’m watching my sister take her sheep to fair, so I’m going to help shear sheep on saturday I feel like my work is never done! I’m going to be sad when I sell them though

Wow, good luck at the county fair ellie-jessie-eve! I hope General Lee and Teddy perform admirably

Mood: Happy, Tired
Reason: I’m babysitting my sister for the next three days, but that means I have to get up when she does…why must 9 year-olds get up at 7:00 am? Maybe I’ll take her to a movie or something, I really want to see Despicable Me.

Wow, that sounds like quite the task, ellie-jessie-eve! I’m sure all of your hard work will pay off though, and good luck at the County Fair!

Haha, Evil_Genius_27, sounds like you’re not going to be having any lie-ins over the next couple of days. I don’t know how little kids can do it, sleep is good and getting up early is bad.

Tired…

I don’t really know why. The bad thing is, I have to go to work in about a half an hour until 7 PM. :frowning: Perhaps I’ll be over my tiredness before that… I hope.

But I will say this… about 1-2years ago when I was in school I was Extremely rebellious. Almost all the time I would get into trouble. I would get ASD and ISS I would interrupt the teachers, sometimes i wouldn’t show up in class either. I would sneak around the school ( eve though there were cameras). Though i would not get into fights unless i had to (one time some kids were beating on my friend and i helped him get away from them). I was a friend to alot of people whether they where the “IN CROWD” or the not so in crowd (though most didnt care whether you were in any crowd). Finally my parents took me out of school and did homeschooling. But that has all changed now now im more peaceful in mind. My grades did suffer from being “BAD” though used to get almost straight A’s then I got B’s,C’s, D’s and sometimes a’s. Before all that i was a “Good” kid…

So thats my story for today and good luck.

So you’re homeschooled? I’m homeschooled to! :sunglasses:

:open_mouth:
Yep and I’ve self educated myself in higher standards like History, Math, Automotive, and Technology.

Woot! Homeschoolers unite! fistpump I’m a graduated homeschooler, Class of '09 - I graduated an entire year earlier than I should have, thanks to homeschooling.

Anyway!

Mood: Happy, having fun, but also slightly miserable

Reason: Well the same friend that we brought up to stay a week with us last week invited us downstate to spend the week with her at the camp her family rented. It’s been loads of fun and probably the most relaxing week of my life so far. I’m able to get away from everything that’s going on at home, and spending time with my friendis always amazing cuz she’s such a great person.

I’m really upset and miserable though because I got THE worst sunburn ever, and it’s killing me. :frowning: I was so excited to get a tan that I only put on some bronzer and no sunblock, and now I’m paying for it. That’s what I get for having super white skin. I usually go whole summers without a spot of color, cuz I have nothing to do outside, and it’s really embarassing to be around all these beautiful tan girls and be the only pale one, so I planned to resolve that this summer. I learned how to kayak and I’ll probably be a kayaking pro before I go back home.

We might go to the movies tonight, and maybe kayaking again later when we go back to the camp. I’m having lots of fun, but I got a bit home sick and cried last night thinking about how much I miss my mom. (I’m being totally honest with you guys, too.) Part of it may have been the pain I was in from that dang sunburn, but I really do kind of miss home.

I talked to my mom this morning, and she said my uncle might stop by tonight and take a look at our poor dead computer to see if there’s anything he can do or even suggest. So I’m praying we’ll get some answers, and that we’ll be able to get the issue somewhat resolved… mainly so I’ll have that laptop and my access the internet back!

I’ll see you guys around!

little chef

LOL here is one in! Hi-5!
