Gah, Toy Story 3… You’re such a babe magnet!

Toy Story 3? Babe magnet? Now, I’m really curious!
I started working extra hours at work today, helping out my friend. I’d really rather have the day to myself, but I know how busy it can be at my work when you’re working alone, and as she’s just starting out, I thought I’d give her a hand. The only problem is, she’s the friend who’s dating the guy I like, so sometimes she talks about all the fun they have…I’m really happy for them, but still, it kinda hurts. Sorry, I don’t mean to be a downer. I just had to get that off my chest.

And Czarine, you really must tell us what you mean by Toy Story 3 being a babe magnet. I’m intrigued (also slightly confused, which hopefully you will remedy).
Well, I’ve seen Toy Story 3 yesterday with a very good friend of mine. A friend I’ve only known for about 3 years now, but still… I see her every summer break and I’ve been kinda crushing on her ever since I met her. But for her sake, I never showed. We do everything together… I got her into skimboarding, she got me into kitesurfing. Swimming, tanning, tennis, football, movie nights, etc. But we didn’t go to the theatre together yet, so I texted her last friday, asking if she’d like to see a movie with me.
So… Like I said, we went to Toy Story 3. Nearest cinema was on a different island, so we had to travel by bus for over an hour to get there… Normally I hate bus drives because they’re so boring, but this one wasn’t. Anyway, we got there, I bought us the movie tickets, she bought the popcorn and drinks. We went in and I found she really liked the movie and was finding it rather hilarious… at the right moments! Honestly, nobody I know IRL can enjoy Pixar like that. Over here, anything animated is known as ‘childish’… Anyway, then came the point where the toys were about to be burned by a huuuuge garbage disposer. There was dramatic music and the toys looked at eachother like ‘This is it, guys…’ and started holding hands and preparing to get burned. Well, she started holding my hands too at that point. Didn’t release until after the movie was over, including the end credits. (On a side note: NOBODY left during the end credits, everyone waited until they were over… I’ve never seen that before in a movie theatre! The movie must have made quite an impression. 
) So yeah, we walked out of the theatre, still holding hands and, well… we were standing on the boulevard of Vlissingen with the skyline behind us, looking at the sunset over the ocean… It happened!
I mean, how cliché is that! Boulevard, skyline, sea, sunset, holding hands, first kiss, etc. But damn, it felt so awesome and… well, real! I can’t wait for the next Pixar movie we’re seeing together!

I still find it hard to believe this happened (not in the ‘I don’t trust you’ sense, but the ‘what are the chances?’ sense), but I’m very glad for you.
Well, it’s hard to not get romantic on the boulevard of Vlissingen, honestly!

Yeah, me too. Don’t know when, but someday soon (by soon, I mean in about three years when I have my own car), I MIGHT ask Caitlin out. Actually, my mom already asked Caitlin’s mom if Caitlin could come with us on our annual Disney trip, but she said no. Something about not wanting Caitlin to just go away like that. Oh, well…

Congratulations, Czarine! Unfortunately, I haven’t crossed into that predicament yet… but, hey, you’ve gotta be patient. It’s a bonus that she seems to like Pixar too, and that it all happened over TS3!
