Yesterday I received a very depressing letter informing me that the November 2007 issue of Disney Adventures magazine is the final issue. 
Upcoming Pixar has posted my scan of said letter for anybody who wants to read it.

I used to collect DA. I even have the Toy Story edition. Good times 
I wonder if this will effect the Australian edition… Even though I have only ever bought one issue of DA, I always thought it was a cute little magazine, and a great way of promoting Pixar’s movies. This is a shame.
Whaaaaaat??? I didn’t catch that! I just subscribed to it about five months ago. I want my money back! x__X
Well, that would explain why I haven’t been seeing them on the grocery store shelves lately… That sucks. Oh well. I’m glad that I collected the Finding Nemo, The Incredibles, and Ratatouille editions when I had the chance!

Where in the issue does it say it? I have the November issue, and I must be blind because I’ve been looking through it a hundred times over and I see nothing.
I didn’t get a letter or anything. I’m always left in the dark about these things …xP

Well, that’s a bit dumb. You think DA would have the decency to apologise to their readers themselves.
Oh man, I remember when I started collecting these in 1993. I have all the way up to 1999 or 2000 I think ,then my mom couldn’t afford my subscription any more, and I kinda stopped buying them. This kinda makes me sad.
Although, I might still be able to find them at my local comic shop one day.

i was getting my disney adventures though Disney Rewards program and a few weeks ago, i got a email from them saying that they are going to reaborste my points because the magizine i choose for my prize is ending. I still got the last issue though.
I flipped out instanly when I saw this thread upon opening the forum. I love Disney Adventures! The comics are pretty entertaining to read-in fact, I’m getting some issues of this one comic that made apperances in the magazine frequenlty,probably tonight.
Well,seeing that PixarVixen ordered the magazine and is getting it replaced with Family Fun,I’ll most likely get that because my mom ordered DA from a fundraiser.
So,to sum it up, I’m quite unhappy that DA isn’t going to be published anymore.
On the plus side, at least we don’t have to see fifty more issues with Hannah “Banana-Head” Montana on the cover.

Wow. reminders of childhood. I used to get them when they’d have the special edition ones about the movies. Plus i have a couple others. (unrfortunately I accidentally threw out one that had the beatles in it. I think it had Doug on the cover)
The one decent publaction for kids is being cancled. Well know wat this means. Wee need to make a petion to try to bring back. (goes to petions online and makes one)
