Disney and Stan Lee ? Hmmm, I’m not sure about this, but it’s interesting nonethelss.
Hmm I am starting to think
that a new Super Hero Disney movie might be possible.

This should be particularly interesting as pretty much all of Stan Lee’s characters are owned
by Marvel and they’re under contract with Universal. I wonder if he’s going to start all new franchises with
them.
I obviously
love Disney, and the Spider-Man saga is great. So this should be awesome!
I am not sure about a Disney version of Spider-Man. I
think it could be a little too kiddy like.

For some reason, this really scares me…
Thanks for the information though, JV!

Mitch - Yeah, that does seem
a little odd, doesn’t it?

Bill - It’s extremely odd! Disney and superheros just don’t
seem to mix, for some reason… (snigger)
*Mouth gaping and
pointing at one of the board’s very sections as well as Darkwing Duck and other stuff*
Unless Mitch was kidding, I’ll join
FJ and point to Kim Possible as it is dangerously close
to qualifying for the superhero genre.
And, The Incredibles? Hello?!

PV - Am I the only one other than you who hasn’t forgotten about
The Incredibles ?
(Pause)
I guess so.
Heheh. I think FJ hinted at it, but he
was subtle.

FigmentJedi - Well, I was referring to the “big name” films.
Eheh.
PV - Kim Possible is as close as it gets
(unless you count Underdog). The Incredibles was mainly
under the supervision of Pixar; I have no clue how much involvement Disney had in the project, except for the
obvious tasks of merchandising and advertising.

Well
we have the afformentioned Kim Possible, Darkwing Duck, UnderDog (is that Disney?), and The
Incredibles
but let’s not also forget Sky High, and any one who’s been to their Disney Store lately
knows Disney now owns the Power Rangers.
Yep yep, but
The Incredibles is owned by Disney, so it counts.

Oh yeah, I forgot about Sky High.
And why the
heck would Disney want the rights to own Power Rangers? It appeals to young boys,
I’m sure, but still. It just seems a little…strange… Maybe it’s just me?
(snigger)
PV - Ohhh – I see! Heheh. Silly me.
I would imagine if Stan Lee was going to create a Super
Hero character, it whould have to be themed off of an animal, or some concept because a Super Hero with Super
powers would be a little boring for someone like Stan Lee.
