I think that’s an April Fool’s joke. But don’t worry, I fell for it too.
On one hand it would have been good for UP to have been “bought out” (how that would have
worked, I don’t know), because UP would have been able to have gotten news straight from the source.
But
then you would have had issues such as censorship because Disney wouldn’t have wanted rumours (that are
eventually found to be true), and leaked footage/pics/etc to have shown up on the blog ahead of time, as was the
case with the Chinese Ratatouille trailer.
Puh-ha! That’s funny.
That’s the best April Fool’s joke I’ve seen since the whole “Memerson” thing on a
Harry Potter website known as “Mugglenet.com” (but that’s another
story…).
Too bad it ain’t true, except for the “www.upcomingpixar.com” website – he really
is working on an official site appart from his blog.
But yeah, that was funny. Thanks for posting it! It
was so much better than my April Fool’s joke…

This is honestly the first
time that an Internet April Fools’ joke ever got me… I only found out that it wasn’t true when I saw this
thread! Not even the creative starwars.com April Fools’ pranks ever got me.
