Given that Disney Infinity started to implement Pixar based content, but then mysteriously stopped, I wonder if one day they might finish the job and add more Toy Boxes based on Pixar’s movies into the game.
So far the only one that has been featured a little is Brave, with the [url]http://disneyinfinity.wikia.com/wiki/Angus[/url] mount power disc.
I assumed this meant that Merida would be the next Pixar character to be introduced into Disney Infinity.
As of yet, she has not been introduced.

The image on the page shows that her figurine must have been rendered for the game and that is usually the first step towards a full playable character.

But I’m uncertain if Finding Nemo can be properly integrated into Disney Infinity, since there isn’t currently a game mechanic to support fish and water.
I am assuming they wouldn’t have started integrating items based on these franchises if they didn’t plan for full integration later.
At the moment, no mention has been made of Ratatouille and A Bug’s Life.
Inside Out and the Good Dinosaur most likely won’t be mentioned until the movie is close to or actually released.
I am hoping they eventually add these characters/franchises into Disney Infinity, because one of the main reasons I am playing DI is for Pixar content.
