I did not see any mention of this but thought some of us might enjoy seeing how Walt Disney Imagineering is bringing some of our Pixar favorites to the theme parks.

Mmm…yes, I happened to see this particular article only yesterday, and I must say it looks very interesting. I especially like the fact that they are going to create a ride based on Pixar’s Cars.
I wonder if they’ll make a Ratatouille-themed attraction in the future?

I wonder. Are they gonna input an Incredibles theme attraction in Disneyland? And if they are, what and where would it be?

Well, there have been rumors of an Incredibles “Pod” transportation ride that would replace the People Mover Attraction in Tomorrowland.
The “Pods” would/may be themed to those on Syndrome’s Island Just rumors and ideas but very interesting concepts.

I see. I was hoping that they could make an entire section of the theme park dedicated to Pixar movies only.
Judging from some of the concept art, the Carland art piece looks as though it may be an entire land themed to Cars.
Either way, Pixar has definitely had its influence on Disneyland

I am guessing they are going to change Autotopia to give it a Cars theme. I can see the environment and setting for the ride.

The Cars ride is actually going to be put in California Adventure, possibly replacing the current Route 66 area. Incredibles has also been rumored for California Adventure as well, going into the current Timon parking lot. Think we can rename the park Pixarland yet, like so many disgruntled APs keep claiming is going to happen?
I wouldn’t be surprised it they did turn CA Adventure into a Pixar Land. BUt then, you would have the Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters way in Disneyland.

Oh yeah I saw those pictures in the annual report my dad got in the mail yesterday. Those look pretty cool! I was hoping they’d make the Test Track at Epcot Cars themed, or the Tomorrowland Speedway at Magic Kingdom, but it look like the Cars ride is going to Disneyland (for now anyway)
