Disney Presents a Pixar Film

Ok,

when you look at all the posters on this page.

pixar.com/featurefilms/index.html

Some

are Disney Pixar, and some are Disney Presents a Pixar Film.

To my understanding, everything after the

disney buyout was to be branded Disney Pixar.

So it’s strange that Ratatouille is still Disney Presents a

Pixar Film.

What’s even stranger is some randomly have Disney Pixar before the buyout.

What’s up

with that.

I really don’t see what you are talking about luxo. Could you tell me in detail what I am

really looking for? Cause I can’t see it.

I agree with what your saying

luxo, I actually have a Monsters Inc. DVD from before

the buyout that says Disney Pixar. I actually have wondered the same thing, but came

to the conclusion it was just the wording – it doesn’t really matter to Disney, I mean, Disney

Pixar and Disney presents a Pixar film are basically two ways to say

the same thing, ones just “shorthand” I guess.

I think it’s the same thing but “Disney Pixar” is more shorter…

Yeah, Disney Presents a Pixar Film and Disney Pixar are pretty much

saying the exact same thing. That’s my opinion anyway…

Disney Presents a Pixar Film sound better to me however, it sort of gives more credit to

Pixar, because it says it’s there film.

Maybe I’m being too picky…and TSS, look at the posters on that

page, they are very small, but some have the words Disney Pixar, and some Disney Presents a Pixar

Film.

Maybe this should be in a different area of the forum now…

Oh I

see what you are talking about. Thanks for pointing it out.

luxo I think it is also sort of to do with how it looks on the poster itself.

For example, on the Cars one, it has just Disney Pixar because it fits nicely between the logo. But with

Ratatouille, there wasn’t as much of a restriction in space.

Yes but all movies after the buyout were supposed to be branded Disney Pixar…and Ratatouille

isn’t.

That was like one of the main parts of the deal.

luxo – Yeah, I know what

you mean. It shouldn’t really matter, but your right: the wording in the agreement said that…

I don’t

know.

I would agree so too. It is Pixar’s work.
They should be the ones to receive all the credit in the first place before Disney distributes their productions and then they kind of try to make it as if it was their work as well to the world which I really dislike what Disney does there at that point.
