Hi guys! Wondering if any of you had heard of the new Disneynature film, African Cats? I know some of you have seen our past two efforts, EARTH and Oceans, so…are you looking forward to this one as well? Just like in the past, we’ll also be donating a portion of proceeds from ticket sales in its opening week to the African Wildlife Foundation…just a little incentive for anyone to see the movie
You can watch the trailer below and let me know your thoughts!
Holy Freedom Fris! I can’t watch the trailer at this moment, but I already know I am going to love this movie! I love cats, of all kinds. And nature films. So this is perfect! When will it be released?
I wanna see it, I really enjoyed the las 2 Disneynature films, Earth and Oceans were mind blowing, I hope Disney keep making 1 disneynature film per year, On Earth Day I’ll be watching it for sure (April 22nd)
Glad to see the enthusiasm! Yup, it comes out on April 22nd, Earth Day! Don’t forget to take the “See African Cats, Save the Savanna” pledge and see it opening week so you can help the African Wildlife Foundation
You can also watch two new film clips here and here.
I am quite embarassed to say I haven’t watched the last two Earth Day movies, but I am quite disappointed that they didn’t receive much publicity (or even a release, in fact) in Australia. Is there any chance Disney Australia distributors will consider a release here DisneyMovie?
Anyway, great trailer. Excellent use of Vega 4’s ‘Life is Beautiful’, a wonderful track I heard on Grey’s Anatomy.
Will there be a narrator, and if so who would it be? The same one who did the trailer, perhaps?
You heard right! Mr. Jackson is our narrator, and really can’t think of anybody cooler to do so! You can watch a few clips (with his narration) on our YouTube channel.
I wish I could answer that question for sure, but unfortunately, I only really work with domestic distribution/marketing As of now, we don’t have a release date in Australia but maybe that will change soon, considering our movies have been pretty successful in many parts of the world.
