Hey, not sure if anyone’s heard about what Disney’s starting up beginning in January. Apparently, if you register yourself in on the site (by the end of the year, I think), they e-mail you a few weeks before your birthday and you get to print out a certificate to take to either DisneyWorld or DisneyLand and you get free admission for the day.
I think it’s an awesome oppurtunity and I just wanted to share it with everyone. My birthday’s in March, so I’m TOTALLY taking advantage of this thing!
That’s such a good offer! Thanks for the information, CGI Clownfish. Although I probably won’t be taking advantage of it, I wouldn’t be surprised if a fair few people on here do!
I think that this is a good offer, but I don’t think I’ll use it. I might get a pass for Disneyland, and I go right after school and at other times when nobody’s there.
That is neat, and very generous of Disney since theme park tickets are expensive these days. For obvious reasons I wouldn’t be able to take advantage of this offer (come on Gold Coast, one more theme park wouldn’t hurt!) but I’d imagine that you’d need to show ID with your birth date so you don’t get every one signing up several times to get into the park for free all the time. Have fun if you do go!
You don’t have to register on the site, it’s just recommended. And you don’t have to do it by the end of this year. Just show up with state ID or birth certificate of notarized copy and you’re in.
Annual pass holders get their choice of other incentives, such as a gift card for the amount of a day ticket. Pretty sweet.
And people born on February 29th may visit free either the 28th or March 1st.
Yeah I’ve heard about this. That is a really nice gesture but you still gotta get yourself there on your own money right? So I could hardly justify spending $300 on airfare for just one day. Plus hotel, what about that? And Transportation, etc. That would really only be beneficial to me if I lived near enough to a Disney Park to be able to take a one day trip.
Well that free birthday entrence does works. My mom birthday was friday and we signed up for that months ago, and she got in for free. Because we lived in southern california, they give her a 2fer ticket and a birthday button. but i believe it cost her to pay for me about $5o something plus tax. so i have to say she had to pay around $80.
