DO NOT CLICK UNFAMILIAR LINKS!!!

Do not, I repeat, DO NOT click on any of the links posted by user 123. They are not only spam, but the page will trap you. The little twerp has been banned, don’t give him the satisfaction. Just don’t.

In fact, if you can’t tell almost right away where a link will lead (this makes most tinyurl links suspect), don’t click it unless you know who posted it. If it turns out to be spam and junk like we had today, the admins will take care of it as soon as possible.

True don’t, it took me a while to close that window down.

I had clicked it out of foolishness (I really wasn’t thinking), but luckily with Mac’s force quit option it closed it immediately. :smiley:

I just didn’t click it. :open_mouth: I think I’m glad I didn’t now.

Mac = 1
123 = 0

Score for the Mac!

Thank you, KE. But you might want to title this post “Do not click 123’s links” instead of “DO NOT CLICK!!!”, since “DO NOT CLICK!!!” implies that we should stay away from this thread, which I did, but I’m so curious, I had to see what this thread was about. Thankfully, I did see this thread, so thank you so much, KE.

Boy, I should switch to a Mac. :laughing:

I’m glad I didn’t even see 123’s posts. :stuck_out_tongue:

A113, you have a point. goes to change thread title

I was in class and way ticked off. Besides, I needed to make sure I deleted his posts before too many of them appeared… now it’s more of a general warning, since 123 is gone along with his infernal links.

Wow, thanks for the warning you guys. I am glad the 123 member is gon. Good ridance.

Oh, no. I clicked on the link and was forced to press "alt, control, delete" and close the browser. How [i:2j602azh]will[/i:2j602azh] I get over this experience which has scarred me for life? :-\

Thank you for the “heads up”, KE! :slight_smile:

Sheesh. First of all, it caused my computer to freeze, and I lost part of my Creative Writing homework. So you got off easy. Second, I was only trying to keep you guys from having to deal with 123’s junk. I’ll admit that I was really cheesed off from what that link did to me - which I only clicked on to know for certain what it was, so I could deal with it appropriately - and I got a little overzealous, so what? There’s no need to be rude about it.

I don’t think it was a statement directed to you… I think Rachel was aiming it more towards the jerks who post those links. Either way, it was a good call you posted this thread, so I wouldn’t take it too personally. :wink:

No need not to be. Check out CGI’s post. :wink:

Yeah same here, I know rachelcakes wasn’t directing it to you, KE. :smiley: She wouldn’t be mean like that.

Oh, no no no. I didn’t mean it like that.

My post was directed at 123. I was merely pointing out the fact that because of their obsession with disliking Pixar Planet and everything connected with it, the only course of action they can take is to direct us to websites that disrupt our lives for, say, five seconds (as was my personal experience with clicking on the link). As if it really has any impact on us members or this site, at all in the grand scheme of things. Heheh. It’s quite pathetic of them really, to stoop that low, and it really doesn’t affect the runnings of everything here, anyway. That’s what I was trying to point out.

I’m sorry about you losing your homework. I guess because it didn’t affect me personally, as I wasn’t doing anything that important on the computer at the time, I didn’t think about other people losing work on their computer, or various other implications that clicking on the link might have…

Sorry for the confusion, and thanks for doing your best to protect us from other members’ inappropriate actions here. You guys do a great job. :mrgreen:
