Do you collect anything?

Aside from Incredibles stuff, there isn’t really anything in particular I collect.

TSS - Why am I not surprised? Heheheh, your collectiom must be extensive.

Well, it isn’t as extensive as Dash’s Incredi-shrine, but I am proud of what I have.

Well use to be a Pokemon collector. Got the full set (all the first 151) cards, which got me on the radio and television…
Have a great selection of Digimon Cards that I use on a regular basis heh…

I also “collect” the adventures I go through in several games. It’s weird, but I figure what you play you sometimes “collect” in terms of experiencing it.

Umm…of course it’s no surprise I’ve collected next to all Randall-merchandise as a I can, as well as M.I.
In fact, I think I have a one of a kind Randall plush that…well…I have no idea where it came from, my mom got it off of E-bay or Amazon and the info was lost, but it seems…well…to be made in a unique way. It has no tag, but it looks good enough to be of franchise quality, and it has the word “sample” written underneath it. I’ve search all on the net and the like and never found the same thing again.

My first collection was sailor moon episodes. I’ve got a stack of vhs bout 12 high of old toonami tapings. I made a point to collect as much japanese merchandise because the american ended to cheapen series as a whole. I just actually completed my collection recently when I acquired the last season on dvd, knowing of course that it would never be aired state-side.
My next collection, which is considerable larger, is of Incredibles merchandise. My friends and family now that if they were to ever see anything that wasn’t found in my room that they were to buy it. It’s my biggest collection to date.
I also collect images from my favorite artists on my hdd. I use them for inspiration or reference. I’ve learned more from observation than I ever did from a class or book.

Before TI, I used to collect pokemon and digimon and yu-gi-oh cards. I was a anime freak back then. Every now and then, I would pick up a sword from a store and put it with my collection.

Oooh, I’ve always wanted a house with a room only for a weapons collection. I have a weakness for dirks, long blades and archer weaponry.

I collect tarantulas and other spiders/arachnids, native snakes(yes, alive), coffee mugs, and Studebaker automobiles. I guess you can call two cars a collection; if I had more money, I would definately have more Studebakers! I eventually hope to add a Stude truck to the herd, anyway, to compliment the '51 Champion and the '61 Lark Cruiser.

When I was a kid I use to collect Coins, Old money (like the 2 dollar bill) I have liek $500 in old money, key chains and keys, hockey & baseball cards, and those magnet keys you get from hotels. I didn’t collect movie stubs but I kept the tickets from musicals and concerts.

To this day, I still collect tickets from musicals and concerts and magnet keys you from hotels.

video game music - I’m probably the geekiest person when it comes to video game music. I practically download it nonstop, even while I’m sleeping. There are approximately 100 video game soundtracks on my mp3 player alone, my favorite of all time being Rocket Knight Adventures. Thank goodness for the internet. ;-p

Pixar stuff (mainly Incredibles merchandise) - I sleep underneath an Incredibles comforter with my Dash dolls below my Incredibles poster next to my shelves displaying all of my Cars die-casts, Ratatouille toys, and miscellaneous Pixar collectibles. Everything I can’t fit into my room is stored in my basement until I buy a house. Heheh.

Disney pins - I spend more money on those blasted pins than on anything else when I take vacations to the Disney parks. Of the gazillions out there, I hunt excessively for cute Stitch pins.

dragons - I love dragons, and I hope to own as many of them as I can in any form. I always get dragon calendars for the gorgeous artwork. I hang dragon plushies from my bedroom ceiling and lay a giant Dragonite (Pokémon) pillow plushie at the foot of my bed. 3 shelves in my room hold my dragon items, 1 of which is my Figment-only zone.

ticket stubs - Most people toss 'em, but I save mine. Ticket stubs are part of a fan’s history. They signify, “I was there”.

~~=oP

Ahh must agree there. Dragon collector myself.

PV - Haha. You’re…like…part my mom (collecting Stitch pins), part my sister (collecting dragon merchandise), and part me (hunting for video game music).

Video game music is, strictly speaking, some of the best music around. I’m serious – it’s awesome! :sunglasses:

That is just sad… ;-p (snigger)

Oh yeah! Video game music is the bomb! :sunglasses: I mostly prefer Nintendo stuff, but Sonic is good, too. If you also like Nintendo stuff, then you have to listen to some music I have!

What I usually do is pop computer game CD ROMs into the radio and play them on there. ‘Tis the coolest thing ever, especially when the freakin’ game won’t work on the computer and/but you simply want to hear the music/score…

Wow. Honestly. I thought I was the only Video Game music lover.
I honestly have few “traditional” music likings, but Video Game music seems to be a Genre, I THOUGHT, was rare

I don’t really collect VG music, but if it really gets me, then I put it on my ipod. I did collect vg dolls when I was young.

I like the music from Bust A Groove (PS1)

I’m also in the movie stub collecting business, but I’ve only been doing it for about 9 years, which is kinda short. But it’s failing now that I only see maybe 2 movies a year.

The main things I collect are the Archie Sonic comics, almost 15 years worth, and manga(comics typically originating from Japan), of which I have several large bins full. In fact, I’m staring at a pile of 30 manga I still haven’t read. :unamused: Another thing I love is sketchbooks, although most of them remain unfilled.
