I’m glad! Hopefully I can get them.
I wish I could get the other outfits for them, but I don’t want to spend that much money on that set that has both dolls and the other outfits. I wish they were sold individually.

I agree, that set is too expensive.
I saw an ad for a local store in town, and it looks like they have those exact Anna and Elsa dolls, and it looks like they are $10 each if you buy two or more, so I could get both of them for $20, instead of $16 each + shipping from the Disney store.
I’m hoping they are the right ones. They look like it in the picture, and it’s also the store where I bought my big stuffed Sven, which I actually saw was from the Disney store site where the dolls are from, so hopefully they are the right ones.
JC Penney has a deal with Disney Store. They have cheaper versions of the DS dolls. They have stiff bodies with no joints, simpler outfits, and sometimes different hair. Elsa is the same except she has less glitter on her outfit and her body is not jointed. Anna has a simple outfit, stiff body, no cape, hat, or gloves. Kristoff is just a mess compared to his fabulous DS doll. Hans is actually identical, probably because he didn’t have many “add ons” to begin with. If it is a different store, they have Mattel dolls only.
Yeah, JCPenney is the store. I like the Disney Elsa better with the more detailed dress, but I don’t care if Anna doesn’t have the extra stuff. Do you think it would be awkward to have Elsa jointed and Anna not jointed.
Do the non-jointed dolls still bend at the shoulder and hips like a Barbie doll?
^^Which doll is that? She’s cute.
I went to JCPenney today and got Anna. I paid $12, which was great since the less detailed ones I’ve seen in other stores cost $19. Even paying $16 on the Disney site is a better deal. Elsa was sold out. But that’s okay since I like the Disney one better with the more detailed dress. I saw that there was free shipping on Frozen stuff on the Disney site until tomorrow, so hopefully I’ll be able to order Elsa today.
I really like my Anna. I don’t care that she didn’t come with the hat, cape, and gloves, or that she doesn’t have extra joints. I found a handmade Barbie sized scarf for her to wear. She is great quality and the outfit and boots are really nice. I liked how they put the white streak in her hair like she’s supposed to have. I’ve seen more expensive ones that don’t even have that.
The only things I remotely don’t like about her are that her eyes are kind of dark, and I wish that the blue blouse and black bodice were separate. The skirt is separate though, which is kind of nice.
It was exciting to discover that she will probably be able to share clothes with Barbie dolls! I compared her to my Barbie doll, and it looks like the widths of their shoulders and hips are very similar. It also looks like their feet are the same size. The Barbie shoes I tried on her fit pretty well. The only difference is the head size. Anna’s head is bigger than a Barbie’s.
Elsa seems to be gone at DS, you’re right! And JCP is out of Hans. Weird. I better get these dolls fast lol. Getting Elsa at JCP and Hans at DS I guess. I’ll get both Anna and Kristoff at DS.
Elsa is sold out at DS and JCP. I was so mad when I went to order her, and boom, she’s sold out.
Do you think they’ll make more? They should if they’re still making dolls from movies that are over 50 years old.
I DON’T want to get mixed up in that endless search on Ebay for a non-ridiculous price, or settle for one of the less quality ones. And I definitely don’t want to get one on Ebay for a stupid price and then DS restocks her again right afterwards.
I’m really disappointed. I even emailed Disney, but they said they aren’t allowed to talk about “when they restock their inventory,” so I don’t know.
Amy: It’s a 1996 reproduction of a 1966 Francie doll, Barbie’s cousin
I’m certain they’ll restock soon; the movie just came out and surely lots of parents will be ordering Frozen toys for Christmas. I’m sorry that happened to you though just as you were about to order her
Free shipping on Frozen stuff ends today too, so I have a feeling I’ll miss out on that once she gets restocked. That’s not really fair for the people who were planning on ordering her during the free shipping. Well, at this point I don’t care about paying shipping. I just want the doll.
I haven’t been collecting much in terms of Pez lately–haven’t been to the candy store in a long while.
(Sorry about the whole thread thing, eje.)
My collection grew today! I got a Legend of Korra CD soundtrack, an Anna doll, an Anna Tshirt, Kristoff doll, and 3 different Avatar: the Last Airbender books!
No worries!
What is your favorite Pez in your collection?
Probably the ones of WALL-E and EVE? (I think you might go jealous when you see that)
Awwww, that sounds cute you have both of them!
Well, here’s what happened:
A few years back, on the way to Grandma’s old house in Crestline one night, Mom stopped at Rite Aid, and I stayed in the car to watch a train go by. She comes out with the WALL-E Pez, so I ended up taking it with me for an overnight stay. Later on, I was visiting my sister, and she was living in North Royalton at the time, so I decided to visit B. A. Sweetie’s candy store (which is near Cleveland because, in the parking lot, you can actually see the tall buildings in the distance). I looked everywhere in the Pez aisle, but there was no sign of the EVE Pez anywhere. Then I spent several months desperately trying to find it, and then one day I finally found it–at the candy store.
I have a Randall pez.
Don’t you mean the MU Randy Pez?
Yeah, that one.
