I complained previously about Disney Movie Rewards and how I ordered a life-size cardboard Wall-E online and later on the phone, and both times the order didn’t go through (and the item sold out). Well, I was able to redeem this WDCC figurine, and Disney shipped it to me within the week! And they told me to wait 4-8 weeks. Pretty nice considering I didn’t spend a cent on this.
So I kind of collect WDCC figurines, but they’re expensive at the same time, so I’m limited to what I can buy. I’m thinking of getting Wendy Darling, Belle, and maybe even a nice Ariel figurine next.
I’ve got a Toy Story collection (like a lot of people on the boards!) as well as a Sims PC game collection. I recently went out and spent way too much money on some G4 My Little Ponies, because a guy on DeviantArt is mass-producing show-accurate plastic hair to stick on, and I wanted in on the action.
At the moment I have 17 ponies (as well as 8 ‘animal friends’ and 2 Spikes), and hopefully they’ll all get turned into a character from the show.
Most of them are hairless at the moment because I’ll eventually be putting the sculpted hair onto them.
You can get a pretty good glimpse of my Sims collection in that picture as well.
Here’s what the sculpted mane ponies look like when they’re all set up and painted - looks a lot better than brushable hair, doesn’t it?
I haven’t really bought a lot of ponies lately. I still only have Pinkie, Twilight, Fluttershy, and Lily Blossom… OH and Feathermay, a friend got her for my birthday! I like Feathermay because she somehow reminds me of Kazooie in a way… It’s the feathers she has as her symbol! And the red/yellow combo…
Anyway, I recently wasted my hard-earned birthday money on these things;

People who frequent my art topic might recognize these two! These are REALLY rare. Based on the TV show rather than the games and were only distributed in Japan.
And yet I see a lot of them popping up around eBay lately…[/spoiler]
Welp, I suppose I have to wait a week 'til they get here. All the way from Japan… I already have Krusha.
Oh well. The trio of bad guys is soon to be complete, after this I’ll try to complete the set~
Awesomesauce, Badger. In '97 (the year I was born!) my mom got my older sister Banjo and Diddy Kong figures from the Diddy Kong Racing toy line Toys R Us was selling when the game was new. I still have them, proudly displayed on my shelf with their karts and plane. I wish an official Conker figure existed somewhere…
As am I. I really want to get the Cutie Mark Crusaders + Cheerilee set since that just recently started getting sold, but whaddaya know, I don’t have any money…
