They’re hiding in my desk drawer at the moment. I’m pretty open about ponies, but until they get their show-accurate hair I don’t really want anybody knowing that an 18 year old guy owns nearly 20 ponies.

Hey Draik, how did you uproot their hair? Just curious. I personally like their hair how it is (plus a little shampoo+conditioner mingling with a brush), but I’m interested in what you’re doing.
Oh cool you get to buy ponies.
First thing to do is pull its head off (the first pony I dehaired was Fluttershy… I was traumatised throughout at the thought of ripping her head off and pulling out all her hair…).
I let her head soak in warm water for a couple of minutes to loosen up the glue that holds the plugs together, then start scraping the inside of her head with this hook thing I found. I think it has something to do with sewing, but it’s basically just a small hook on the end of a plastic handle.
I just scrape the top of the hook against the glue on the inside of the head to try to detach it from the plastic, then pull the hook back out. The hair gets tangled up in the hook part so when I pull it out a clump of hair comes with it. I just keep doing that until all the hair’s gone!
For the tail I just cut as close to the base as I can with scissors and poke the little stub into the body.
I prefer to do that, also. I considered cutting Rainbow’s hair, as it’s far too long, but I’m so scared I’ll mess it up.
Yeah, I know what you mean. The fact that it never can grow back just makes it all the more stressful! Just take some really sharp scissors, hold the hair down nice and straight how you want it, and carefully cut just a tiny bit at a time so you don’t accidentally just chop of a huge chunk. Funnily enough, that’s how me and my friend did it (accidentally ) when we styled ours, yet it somehow turned out really well. Not my recommended method though.
I have never styled my hair. Because it is all tangely. I did once get my hair cut from my mum. My hair was up to my bottom (I wanted it cut), And then we cut it just a little bit under my shoulders.
I had really long hair for years, but then in May I got it cut. It’s just now to my shoulders.
