If you all want, I can clarify with him. I fly over to the
bay area in a couple weeks to celebrate his 50th birthday. I’ll ask him any and all stuff that you all
request.
Please do Star Swordsman, Try to get all the information you
can.
Thanks Star Swordsman!
Yeah, that’d be great SS!
But back on topic, if there is going to be an Incredibles
sequel, I wonder what ideas can be used.
Personally, I think that this is one
movie that should be left alone.I
really like the fact that they left so much to
the imagination.
The main antagonist would have to be very good to really
match up to Syndrome’s awesomeness and really impress the audience, and I think that certain things that were
only lightly touched upon can be expanded into more detail.
What of Xerek, the villain that
they originally planned on using? He could be a candidate for a sequel villain. I’d hate to see him go to
waste.
~~=oP
Exactly. The villain would have to be connected to the Incredibles on a
personal level; the Underminer was fine for the video game and all, but I really wouldn’t like to see a sequel
with him as the main antagonist.
Personally, my brilliant idea would be that, now that the supers have
returned, Oliver Sansweet’s (who did end up successfully committing suicide after the trial) son, a supporter of
the super ban, makes himself into a powerless supervillain a la Syndrome and/or has a gang of real supervillains
under his control, hoping to nip the return of supers in the bud.
I hope that any possible sequel doesn’t
go too much into the politics of Congressinal talks on the supers’ return that Dicker mentioned would happen,
but obviously I wouldn’t want the subject to be completely ignored, too.
I have a couple plot ideas for
sequels.
Super family vs Super family
4) A friend of Violet is the son of a villain
5) Super Hero
prejudice
These are just some ideas from my head. I think of one every day.
How about this…
An evil villian hypnotizes Mr Incredible & Elastigirl and turns them
evil, the kids (thought dead) then have to rescue there parents from the villian. The only snag is, they have to
go through there parents to get to the villian.
Or…
The other way round,
The kids get hypnotized, and
the parents have to go through them to get to the villian.
Just an idea.
Dan.
Nah. I’m not a big fan of good-guys-go-bad. Too cliche,
and not a plot twist I enjoy.
If they make one, I do see them making it a few years down the line, with
Dash and Jack-Jack at least looking older. Maybe Xerek could be the villain.
BONUS: Incidentally, I also
don’t like good-guys-get-framed. The whole injustice thing really rankles me up something fiercesome.
Same here RMS Oceanic
Yeah, ditto- although it’s a good idea that
might work in itself, the idea that such good hearted people can be turned bad…Not nice. And if some of the
Incredibles were being controlled by a villain for the majority of the film, we wouldn’t be able to see them in
character much.
Good guys going bad is not my thing, but bad going good (with an added mysterious past) sounds intresting to
me.
Yeah. BGGG sounds interesting, but the real interesting angle is
Neutral-Guys-Help-Both, rather like Protoman from Rock/Megaman. That’s where you get the mysterious past and
alterior motives to shine. I wouldn’t mind that in the Incredibles.
Whatever they do, if anything, I hope
it keeps the focus on the family in general, rather than focus too much on the parents or the kids.
Yeah, maybe there’s someone who wants
to help the Incredibles, but something is dragging them to the other side?
How about this idea. A family of super villains versus the Incredibles.
Sounds cool T double S
Who’s perspective would the movie be from
though? Would they be like polar opposites or somethin? With a super family of villans (it wouldn’t be a good
morale but) being evil can be fun. They can just rate it PG like before then
Well, maybe from both, The Incredibles try to beat them, the super villains try
to beat them too, but there is a family side of the family of super villians.
