Well, I don’t know. On one hand, I’d like him to stay at Pixar and continue making the high-quality animated films his studio makes, on the other hand on like to see what he would do at WDFA. Maybe a “joint venture” or something…?
I think John is a brilliant animation director, and no matter what it is, you can’t take that away from him. Wheter it is 2D, or 3D, you can always count on John to deliver something big. That is why I voted yes.
Sort of yes and no, but I voted yes. I think that if he were to direct a Disney film, it would be one heck of a film! But on the other hand, Pixar does need him. Then again, there are lots of very capable individuals at Pixar! I just can’t make my mind up.
Well, he doesn’t have to actually leave Pixar, he’s one of the main guys there. And he’s the Chief Creavtive Officer at Disney after all. That would give him some clout to direct a Disney film.
Being the story-telling genious that he is, I wouldn’t mind seeing Mr. Lasseter take a shot at directing a Disney feature film as long as he doesn’t go too far and end up manipulating every single production that enters into the studio. Although I appreciate him “touching up” a film or two, I would like to see other directors at Disney be given the chance to work their magic, as well. Whether the film they roll out is acceptable or not is up to the audience to decide…
So yeah. I’d like to see the dude do something over at Disney, as long as he doesn’t set up a permanent base there. Eheh. Of course, it’s his life! I’d just like to see what he does.
I would like to see some 2D work from him. Not that the computer animated medium should be shunned, but it would be nice to see a change in things as far as animation goes. Seriously, there’s too much 3-D stuff out there…
