Should Johnny be brought in at some point to do a character? I would certainly love to see him do more voice-over roles.
I think Pixar is doing great with out the help of big time celebrety actors. I don’t think I would want to see Depp anytime soon.
Only if it were because his voice suits the character, and it wasn’t down to the fact that he is a celebrity.

Yeah… it would have to be the right role, and only if
his voice suits the character, but Johnny’s so versitale that he could pull off anything really.

agree with lizardgirl on this. Should his voice fit the role, then they should go
right ahead and cast him as an actor for that character. Quality comes over quantity/fame.
Mitch - I’m not saying that they should cast him because he’s
only a famous actor. That should be the last thing that they would cast an actor for. You guys are all right
in saying that he should only be cast if his voice suits the character. Pixar would
never cast someone just because they’re famous.

be considered for voice-over work due to his apparent fame. I don’t know why I would have thought that of you;
you’re a hard-core Pixar fan! You think I’d use my brain for once… (snigger)
I guess you are right. If there is that one character that
only Mr. Depp can do, I would put him in. (I would really have someone else try it first), but I enjoy Depps
acting so much that I would like to see him in a Pixar movie.

Only if he would be the right voice for the role. I’m not really a fan of him, but
even if I was, I wouldnt want Pixar to put him in a movie just for the sake of having him in there, or just
because he’s popular right now. Only if they could say, like i’ve heard them say about so many others,
"For the character of __________, Johnny Depp was the first person we thought of, and he was perfect for the
role"
I don’t care WHO voices an animated character as long as it’s voiced WELL.
